“Not even close,” Sienna shook her head. They hadn’t laid eyes on each other in ages, so there was no way they were official.
Rosie winked. “He’s good–looking and treats you right, but it’s always better to be cautious.”

Meanwhile, Cedric was kicking it with Yosef and other friends. As soon as Cedric put his phone away, Yosef gave him a playful nudge. “So, are things good between you two now?”
Cedric grinned a little shyly and nodded. “Yeah, kind of.”
Sienna hadn’t agreed yet, but Cedric could tell she was considering his confession. He just needed to keep trying, and he’d get her to say yes,

Cedric stayed quiet, keeping his thoughts to himself.
In another comer of the city, Thomas noticed Josiah quietly sipping his drink and leaned in to whisper. That helicopter ride in the storm, was it Just for fun?”
Josiah ler out a soft snort. “You’re single, aren’t you? What right have you to make fun of me?”
Thomas was speechless, thinking, “What’s wrong with being single? Annoyed, he shot back. Td rather be single than be a heartbroken fool dumped by a woman!”
Josiah snorted, giving a dismissive eye–roll. “A heartbroken fool? Please, she was nothing special. Not gonna waste my time thinking about her. He downed the rest of his drink and got up from his seat.
Thomas glanced over. “Where you off to?”
Tim outta here! Gotta hit Fliraty bright and early tomorrow,” Josiah explained, no beating around the bush. He had a supplier meeting in Flirty the next day.
Back at the Flynn residence, Josiah went upstairs. As he passed Howard’s room, the caretaker came out.
“Mr. Flynn,” the caretaker greeted.
“Is Howard still up? Josiah asked.
“He’s just reading before bed, should be out soon,” the caretaker replied.
“I got it from here. You can leave,” Josiah aid.
“Alright, the caretaker replied, turning to leave.
Josh opened the door, planning to say goodnight to Howard. But he was surprised to see Howard leaning against the headboard.
There was a book open on the bed, but Howard wasn’t reading it. Instead, he was holding a luirpin. He wasn’t daydreaming, but probably lost in memories of the person the hairpin belonged to
Josiah had a feeling his brother was fixated on the girl who owned the hairpin. But he didn’t know who she was. Howard had someone like that on his mind, yet Josiah was completely in the dark about it.

Before dawn the next day. Josiah left Jeiacrity for Fliraty. Upon arrival, he immediately started working contacting suppliers and diving into his tasks, without pausing to adjust to the time difference.
He was usually in great shape, so he didn’t think much of it. It had happened before, and he’d always been fine. But this time, he felt off as soon as he got off the plane.
Zach took his temperature. “Mr. Flynn, you have a fever, he said.
“Yeah.” Josiah nodded, feeling the heat in his own breath. “I know”
“Mr. Flynn, you should go to the hospital. Zach suggested.
“No need.” Josiah shook his head. He couldn’t find time to go to the hospital now. If he didn’t sort things out with the suppliers, it would cause a huge mess
“Look, just get me some medicine. I’ll be fine.” Josiah said firmly.
“Bu, Mr. Flynn, you shouldn’t be pushing yourself like this, Zach said, his forehead wrinkled with worry,
“Pushing myself? Howard’s been in a coma for years. I’ve kept the business going for him. Now that he’s awake, I need to hand it back in top shape No room for mistakes, Josiah replied with a small laugh, acknowledging he owed his success to Howard
