We soon reached his room
The guards at the door greeted him, and they opened the door for us.
We stepped into the room, and he slammed the door shut.
“What do you want me to do?” I said through my gritted teeth
I couldn’t understand what he said. Out of my head no matter how hard I try.
The more I saw his annoying face, the angrier I got
“Why are you frowning your face? Any problem?” He asked and took his seat on the bed.
I forced out a smile, trying my best to mask my rage. “Of course not, your majesty. But what am I doing here again? Do you want me to clean the room?”
I asked. My eyes scanned the whole place, but there were no traces of dirt on the floor or anywhere
“You are here to do nothing. This will be your room from today onwards,” he announced in shock
“What?! Are you kidding?”
I even thought my ear was playing tricks on me at first,
He remained calm, but his expression was unreadable. “Do I look like the type? That joke to you?” he said through his gritted teeth.
His cold voice sent a shiver down my spine.
“But what will I be doing here? I mean, why should I be sleeping here? It doesn’t make sense. A single lady like me is sleeping in a room with a grown–up man. It doesn’t make sense, sense at all.” I said through my gritted teeth. I want to speak with him.
“I believed I clearly told you yesterday that I did not find you attractive at all. Not even in the slightest way.”
My heart breaks into thousands of pieces as the word escapes his lips.
I could feel anger bubbling up in my stomach. Was he saying this on purpose to anger me, or what?
I close my eyes and suck in a deep breath. I have never seen a scan like Lucian in my life.
He is such an annoying jerk.
“Since you did not find me attractive. I don’t think I found you attractive either.” I snapped at him. I was raising my head to meet his intense gaze
He suddenly rose to his feet and took a few steps closer to me.
I tried my best not to move backward as he approached
He suddenly grabbed my chin, forcing me to look into his eyes.
“Are you sure? You did not lind me attractive?” He had a playful smick dancing on his lips as he spoke.
The light fell on his face. I was almost lost in staring at his beautiful face, but I tried my best to focus
“Yes I did not find you attractive.”
I avoided his burning gaze as I replied to him.
He forced me to look at him. “Look into my eyes and reply to me,” he growled.
I gulped down the lump in my throat nervously. Though I loolond calm on the surface, my heart was beating rapidly.
It was as if my heart was about to jump out of my throat.
I could not reply to him. Did I not find him attractive? Of course I do.
But I’m not sure if I have feelings for him
“You are hurting me.” I winced in pain, and fortunately, he let go of me
I massaged my chin and shot him a glare.
“What do you want from me? Wherever I sleep has nothing to do with you and I don’t think I also want to share the same room with you.” I said through my gritted teeth.
This man is really good at annoying people. He did not want me, yet he wanted to make my life a living hell.
He will have a concubine soon, and that means I stand no chance at all. Yet he was making things difficult for me.
“I don’t want people to misunderstand the situation. What if they thought we were in a relationship or whatsoever.” I said, rolling my eyes at him inwardly.
Lucian’s smirk never wavered, his eyes gleaming with amusement
“Misunderstood?” he repeated, his voice low and husky. “I think it’s too late for that,”
He took a step closer, his proximity making my heart skip a beat.
“Besides, I don’t care what others think,” he continued, his voice dripping with arrogance. “As long as they don’t say it right before me, they are safe.” He continued, his voice laced with danger, and I did not fail to sense it. “You’ll sleep here, and that’s final.”
I seethed, my anger boiling over.
“You’re doing this on purpose, aren’t you?” I accused, my voice trembling, I clutched the hem of my dress tightly. That piece of trash. He is such a bully.
Lucian raised an eyebrow. “Doing what?”
“You are Making my life difficult,” I spat. You did not like me, but you won’t let me be. Who knows if my mate will be in this palace? I don’t want him to think I am your leftover!” I said through my gritted teeth, showing my anger and hatred for him
Lucian’s expression turned cold; his eyes flashed with anger. He suddenly pushed a strand of my hair behind my ear.
1 gulped down my saliva nervously. I was trying my best not to shiver.
“How old are you?” He asked; his voice was low but menacing,

“I will clock eighteen in one month,” I said calmly, trying my best to sound more confident than I looked.
A cold chuckle suddenly forced itself out of his throat. “Do you think you can have a mate?”
“Of course I will,” I snapped, and he continued, “Why will I not?”
The evil smirk on his lips grew wider. “Come to think of it, who would want someone like you as a mate? You are very weak, and you have no wolf”
