Chapter 33
ASHERS POW
The work wasn’t done yet as we were very coursed towards getting every single threat wiped out tonight. It could have been way easier if the rogues hail attacked in the morning but considering the fact that it was night and that they had gone an extra mile in hiring their scent made everything
As I stepped outside into the darkness, the night air was cool and crisp against my skin. The moon shone bright overhead, casting an eerie glow over the forest. I could hear the rustling of leaves and the occasional hoot of an owl in the distance. It was a night ripe with possibility and danger.
The woods was alive with the snapping of twigs and the momentary calling of Caden to the guards.
As I began in prowl the boundary, my senses were on high alert. Every rustle of a leaf, every snap of a twig could mean danger. I could hear the low growls of my fellow werewolves as they prowled beside me, their eyes scanning the darkness for any sign of a rogue
The tension in the air was palpable. Everyone in the Pack was on eilge, wondering if there were more werewolves among them. Fear had taken hold of their hearts, and no one was immune to it.

I quickly led my warnors further into the boundary, my wolf senses on high alert. My heart was pounding against my chest as I tried to keep my emotions in check..
I had to be careful, I didn’t want to lead my warriors into any danger that could cost our lives. Considering the way those dirty vermines, were well- prepared, I wasn’t wasn’t sure about my own safety as they seemed to be everywhere. Waiting for the perfect moment to strike.
That was when I noticed something in the distance. It looked like a trap. I immediately signalled my warriors to stop.
“Halt!” I yelled, signalling everyone to kick back a bit.
A loud scuffie followed as everyone stopped dead on their tracks while I walked towards the object.
They walked slowly back. It was at that moment that I discovered that we had nearly crossed the boundary into the werewolf territory. I thought about how unforgiving and mean this race of people could be. It seemed they were still grieving over the goonies 1 had killed long ago. I shook my head as 1 looked around, surprised by their behaviour.
I was angry with myself for almost leading my men into danger. I knew that if we had crossed the boundary, the rogues would have easily ambushed us. I couldn’t risk the lives of my men, I had to be careful.
As we stood there, I couldn’t help but feel a sense of dread wash over me. The rogues were getting bolder with their attacks, and I knew that we had to be vigilant. We had lost too many warriors in recent times, and I couldn’t afford to lose any more.
It was still funny how they had were getting quite bokler but maybe after the treatment the rogues who had been caught would experience, they would learn to keep off and never steer into may track again, no matter how courageous they were.
“Is there anything you see?” Caden who was standing behind me asked, staring straight ahead, his eyes filled with worry.

Chapter 33
As we continued to patrol the boundary, I couldn’t help but think about Raya. I hoped that she was safe before expelling her thought out of my mind, but I couldn’t let my guard down. The rogies were a real threat, and I had to make sure that they didn’t get anywhere near our pack ever again.
My mind was racing with thoughts, and I couldn’t help but feel the weight of the responsibility on my shoulders. As the alpha, it was my duty to protect my pack, and I would do everything in my power to make sure that they were safe.
We continued to patrol the boundary, our eyes scanning the area for any signs of danger. The night was quiet, but I knew that it was only a matter of time before the rogues attacked again.
As we backed away from the trap, my heart was still racing from the adrenaline pumping through my veins. We were lucky we had spotted it in time. I turned to my men and made sure they were all accounted for. It was then that I noticed something strange in the distance.
At the edge of the boundary line, there were figures waiting for us. At first, I thought they were just trees swaying in the wind, but as we took a few more steps back, it became clear that they were werewolves, waiting patiently for us to cross over. My men must have seen them too because they all went silent and took defensive stances.
I approached the boundary cautiously, my wolf on high alert. I could see the werewolves more clearly now. They were big and muscular, their fur shining in the moonlight. They were all staring straight at me, their eyes glowing with an intensity that sent shivers down my spine.
I knew I had to be careful. These were not just any werewolves; they were rogues. And judging by the fact that they were waiting for us at the boundary, they meant to harm us. I took a deep breath and stepped forward, my hand on my sword.
The werewolves didn’t move. They just continued to stare at me, almost as if they were daring me to cross over. I could feel my wolf growling inside me, wanting to attack. But I knew that would be a foolish move. We were outnumbered, and we didn’t know what other traps or ambushes they had in store for us.
I turned back to my men and signaled for them to retreat. We slowly backed away from the boundary, keeping our eyes on the werewolves the whole time. They didn’t move, just continued to watch us as we retreated.
Once we were a safe distance away, I signaled for my men to take defensive positions. We didn’t know when the rogues would attack, but we had to be ready, I could feel the tension in the air, the anticipation of possible baule. I hoped that we would be ready for whatever they had in store for us.
Every sound made me turn around sharply, every shadow made me tense up. I couldn’t trust anyone, not even my closest friends. I knew that I had to be on my guard at all times, that I couldn’t let my guard down for even a moment.
But despite my fear, I knew that we had to stay strong. We had to band together, to fight off this threat and protect our Pack. We couldn’t let fear control us, couldn’t let it paralyze us
As the night wore on, the tension only grew. The fear seemed to seep into every corner of our Pack, it was very thick in the air and I could smell it in the air
No one could be trusted, not even the most patriotic men and with the way those sneaky b’stards had been hiding among the shadows, things even got more tense like a stretched bow.
As I stood there with them by my side, I knew that we had to act fast. The threat of the rogues was still lingering in the air, and we couldn’t let our guard down. I turned to William, who was standing a few feet away from me, and gave him a stern look,
