Chapter 22
He looked at Julia in the photo, who looked confident and had a smile on her face.
It seemed like her, yet it wasn’t her.
He had been absent–minded for a long time before he remembered how long it had been since he last saw her smile.
His gaze shifted to the man on the other side.
Her face looked extremely unpleasant, and her thoughts were uncontrollable, Julia must have been very happy during this period.
And her happiness came from the man in the photo.
He was a little angry, but he was helpless.
He asked Brenda for the exact address of the cruise ship.
Even though he knows that Julia is doing well now, he still can’t help but think about going to find her.
He wanted to bring her back.
After receiving the news, Colton quickly received a message. At this moment, Maren also suddenly called to greet him.
Colton was anxious and directly revealed his plan to go abroad to find Julia.
As soon as Maren heard that Julia was in Fairlea, tears of excitement welled up in her eyes.
“Wait for me for ten minutes, I will come over too!”
She didn’t bring anything, only brought her card and ID
She quickly booked a flight to Fairlea and, with a nervous heart, looked forward to seeing her daughter again.
She did not speak all the way, sitting beside her was Colton
Their occasional small movements exposed their nervousness.
Why aren’t you nervous about facing the people you have hurt in the past?
He looked out of the window, unable to believe that Julia would go to Fairlea alone.
When they were together, Julia often mentioned that she wanted to go to Fairlea, and Colton always casually agreed.
After arriving at Fairlea, they didn’t even have time to put down their luggage.
I went straight to the place I had told my friends to meet, but when they arrived, they found nothing
I asked the people nearby and found out that they had just left.
“Are you talking about those two cruise ships? Oh, they were magnificent!”
It was as if fate had destined it, destined not to see Julia.
Colton wouldn’t let this opportunity for a meeting slip away like this.
Whenever he thought of the scenes of Julia being with other men, his heart couldn’t help but feel pain.
They went along the river of Fairlea to search.
The result indeed made them find it, as they looked at the enormous cruise ship.
No one expected Julia to leave on a cruise.
With a glance, they saw Julia wearing a casual dress, and holding a bouquet,
She sat quietly at the table afterward, sharing dinner, with an unprecedented smile on her face.
Maren and Colton stood still in place.
Across from Julia, similarly, sat Beckett and Mrs. Rosales.
Just like a picture of a family of three, there was talking and laughter.
It was something Julia had never experienced before
It also hurt their eyes. When Julla was with them, they had never laughed such a smile,
Maren watched as her whole body trembled uncontrollably, pointing at them with her finger, and looking at Colton
“What is this?”
How could they not know?
This was the new home that Julia found
Mom and her boyfriend didn’t want either of them. Maren covered her mouth with her hand, watching Julia being so kind to that middle–aged woman, feeling uneasy inside, but still unable to control her emotions.
Colton didn’t speak, and no one knew what he was thinking
He slowly walked up, like an intruder breaking the tranquility.
Maren also followed behind until julia saw them:
would come.
At that moment of eye contact, Julia’s smile froze on her face as it she had anticipated this day w
