Chapter 217
O
For Howard, this was truly wonderful news. After talking to Hervey, he instructed, “Prepare a suite at Lion’s Bay.”
“Got it.”
When they returned to Silver Beach, Josiah gently placed Sienna on the bed. “Rest for a while; I’ve contacted the maid and caregiver, and they’ll be here soon.”
Sienna nodded and thought that Josiah had delayed his day for her and needed to get back to work. “You should go handle your matters.” She was also unsure how to feel about him at that moment.
Josiah said, “Alright. I’ll leave as soon as the maid and caregiver arrive.”
Sienna frowned, pointing to his forehead. “Why haven’t you treated your injury?”
“Oh.” Josiah had almost forgotten. Dismissing her concern, he said, “It’s just a minor injury; no need for treatment.” He casually grabbed a tissue and wiped away the blood.
Sienna frowned at the wound. “At least disinfect it and put on a bandage.”
“But I can’t see it.” Josiah looked at her hopefully. “Could you help me?”
Sienna nodded in agreement. He had saved her once again today; if he hadn’t chased after her, she might have fallen victim to Reyna’s schemes.
With her consent, Josiah happily got the first–aid kit. His forehead injury wasn’t deep; a simple application of iodine on a cotton ball followed by a bandage was enough.
“All done.” It didn’t take long at all.
Josiah lifted his hand to feel the bandage and praised, “It’s wrapped perfectly.”
Sienna thought, ‘Surely it’s not that impressive. Sometimes, she found Josiah’s heartlessness shocking. Yet at other times, she saw him as innocent as a child. She wondered what kind of person he really was.
Before long, the caregiver and maid arrived. Josiah reluctantly released Sienna, saying, “I’m leaving; take care of yourself and don’t hesitate to tell them if you need anything. I might be late tonight; just sleep without waiting for me.”
Sienna nodded, watching him leave. Her expression shifted to one of gloom and confusion.
Because of her shoulder injury, Josiah forbade Sienna from attending the dance troupe. She explained, “The troupe is on break; for now, I’m just overseeing the children’s class, which doesn’t require much from me.”
Josiah was still hesitant. “Can you promise you won’t dance?”
Sienna replied, “I promise.”
“Well then.” Finally, Josiah agreed, personally escorting her to the entrance of the Lightning Dance. “Remember what you said: no dancing. I’ll pick you up in the evening, and if anything goes wrong, you aren’t going anywhere tomorrow.”
Even though Sienna tried to accommodate him, she found herself growing impatient. “Could you please stop nagging? My ears are about to explode from your constant talking!”
“Alright, I won’t say another word.” Seeing that Sienna was displeased, Josiah quickly quieted down and gently kissed her cheek. “I care about you. Why are you getting upset with me?”
“Josiah! Is this going to go on forever?” Sienna clenched her fists.
“Fine, I’ll be quiet.” Josiah pretended to zip his lips in a playful gesture.
Sienna turned and jogged into the Lightning Dance.
“Slow down! Is your belly not hurting anymore? I’ll pick you up tonight; you must not leave on your own!”

Chapter 217
Growing more irritated, Sienna quickened her pace. She had never realized how much Josiah could chatter.
Today, the Lightning Dance buzzed with energy. With no duties in the children’s class that morning, Sienna engaged in stretching and warm–ups in the practice room.
“Sienna!” Rosie approached her with a smile, accompanied by a girl. “Look who’s here!”
“Ellie?!”
“Sienna!” Ellie gleefully ran over, embracing Sienna and giving her a kiss on the cheek.
Their bond was indeed a close one, as Ellie had been the one who carried the unconscious Sienna to safety during the incident at Fliraty’s RED
Dance.
“Ellie, I’m so happy to see you!”
“Me too, Sienna!”
Sienna looked at Ellie, curious. “What brings you to Jeiacrity? Did you come with the dance troupe?”
“Yes,” Ellie replied with a grin. “After that incident, the troupe can’t perform locally.”
The main hall of RED Dance had been devastated by an explosion, and repairs would take time–there was no quick fix.
Ellie said, “The director planned a tour; we’re trying to perform at various venues. Since the tour passed through Jeiacrity, I thought I’d stop by to see you. We are friends who have faced life and death together, aren’t we?”
“Sure!”
With a friend visiting from afar, Sienna wanted to be a good host. However, since Ellie had a flight to catch that evening, they decided to catch up over lunch, with Rosie joining them.
Since Sienna’s arm was still in a sling, they didn’t go far and picked a nearby restaurant to treat Ellie to authentic Jeiacrity cuisine.
At midday, the restaurant was packed with customers. Rosie secured a table by the window. “Sienna, Ellie, come with me!”
“Coming!”
The three talked about their order, and Sienna voiced her concern, “Ellie, I hope you’ll like the food. If not, I can get you something else later.” However, as soon as the dishes were served, Ellie enjoyed every bite, nearly burying her face in her plate. “So delicious!”
Sienna and Rosie exchanged amused glances. “Please indulge yourself.”
Ellie, true to her unpretentious nature, didn’t hold back.
Laughter filled their table. Suddenly, Ellie pointed to the television mounted in the restaurant where patrons could watch. “That’s him!” “Who?” Sienna looked up; the news program was covering financial headlines, and today’s financial expert was Josiah.
Ellie asked, “Is he quite famous in Jeiacrity?”
“Um, you could say that.” Sienna nodded, feeling a bit confused. “Ellie, do you know him?”
Rosie, equally curious, added, “Ellie, from your reaction, it seems you are acquaintances?”
“Well, not exactly.” Ellie waved her hand, then suddenly looked at Sienna. “By the way, weren’t you asking about who rescued you last time?”
Indeed, Sienna had asked Ellie about her rescuer when she was saved. Howeyer, describing his appearance was rather challenging for Ellie. All she remembered was that he was very handsome.
“Look.” Ellie pointed at Josiah on the screen. “That’s him! He is your savior!”
