After seeing Zaid off. Sienna turned and went upstairs, took clothes from the wardrobe, and then went to the bathroom. What she had said earlier wasn’t an excuse. She really did need to freshen up.
While blow–drying her hair after the shower, Sienna yawned continuously, tears streaming down her face from exhaustion. She felt incredibly sleepy. As soon as she left the bathroom, feeling lightheaded, she collapsed onto the bed:
The moment her head hit the pillow, sleepiness overwhelmed her like a tidal wave. She thought to herself, ‘I’ll just sleep for a bit, just a little while. I really can’t hold on any longer.
With that, she closed her eyes and drified off to sleep.
Zaid delivered the suitcase to the ward, where a nurse was changing the IV bottle for Josiah. He glanced behind Zaid but didn’t see Sienna and asked. “Why are you here alone? Where’s Sienna“”
“Ms. Shaw didn’t come “Zaid relayed Sienna’s message, “She’ll come a bit later”
With that, he carried the suitcase into the wardrobe and said, “I put the stuff away”
“Mm–hmm,” Josiah nodded, his brow furrowing slightly, the unease in his heart growing stronger.
As the sky outside the window gradually darkened, Sienna still hadn’t arrived. He couldn’t sit still any longer and picked up his phone to call her. It Took two tries before she answered.
“Hello“Sienna mumbled sleepily, her eyelids still glued together. “Who is it? What’s up?” she said.
“Sienna,” hearing her voice, Josiah guessed, “Are you sleeping?”
“Mm–hmam…” Sienna was still half–asleep, saying, “I’m really tired. Is there something you need?”
Josiah was at a loss for words, his lips parted, saying, “Nothing, then… you sleep”
“Okay“Without a second’s pause, she hung up, not even giving Josiah a chance to say goodbye.
“Sienna.” Josiah called out.
Holding his phone, Josiah stood there in a daze for a couple of seconds, confirming that the call had been disconnected. A surge of anger ignited in his heart. Sienna really wasn’t coming back.
Suddenly, he raised his arm, and exerted force with his wrist, and the brand–new phone was smashed onto the ground. With a crackling sound, shattered into pieces.
Zach happened to push the door open at that moment, and seeing this, he quickly walked over.
Knowing why Josiah was upset, he went to call a caretaker to clean up while saying. “Mr. Flynn, I’ll go get Sienna right away. With that, he turned to

Josiah’s face darkened as he said, “Who gave you permission to take matters into your own hands? Sienna is sleeping, and you’re not allowed to

Josiah glanced at Zach and said, “Sienna didn’t sleep well last night. Don’t bother her. It’s more comfortable at home than in the hospital Let her

After a good night’s sleep, she felt refreshed. She went downstairs, the housekeeper had already arrived and breakfast was ready. Sienna leisurely filled her sinmach, checked the time, and realized it was time to go to the hospital.
She didn’t call Zaid. After leaving the neighborhood, she first took the bus and then transferred to the subway. She wasn’t in a hurry since she had plenty of time.
In the hospital, early in the morning. Howard and Yvene had come to see Josiah, just in time for the doctor’s rounds.
“Mr. Flynn, there’s no serious issue with young Mr. Flynn, He just needs to stay in the hospital for a few more days and continue with the regular treatment the doctor said.
“Thank you for your hard work, Howard replied.
“You’re welcome,” the doctor said. As soon as the doctor left. Yvette looked around, made sure Sienna wasn’t there, frowned, and said indignantly. “Where is Siennat She’s not here for the doctor’s rounds? She didn’t hear all the instructions the doctor just gave. How is the supposed to take good care of you!” Yvette said
Josiah furrowed his brows and said. “She didn’t rest well the day before yesterday. I let her go home to sleep last night”
“What?” Yvette was shocked and couldn’t believe it, saying, “You let her go home! And she… she really went!”
“Mm–hmm, Josiah responded indifferently.
Yvette sneered, “How interesting! Her boyfriend is in the hospital, and she’s at ease”
“Yvette Howard frowned and imejected, “Sienna really is tired.

Howard patted her hand, looked at Sienna, and teased, “With you taking care of Josiah, we won’t disturb you. He’s been missing you all night, He was so persistent. I almost got tired of hearing it.”
“Take care on your way out. Sienna didn’t pick up on his words, seeing Howard out of the ward. She turned back, walked to the bedside, and stared at Josiah’s handsome yet slightly pale and weak face, pursing her lips.
“Sorry, I just wanted to rest a bit yesterday, but I was so tired I couldn’t get up. How was your night!” Sienna said.
Josiah quietly looked at her. Her words were fine. She explained, apologized, and didn’t forget to show concern. But he felt something was missing.
Sienna was standing right in front of him, yet he felt a distant sense from her. Josiah frowned and said, “It’s fine. I won’t die.”
