Chapter 387
“Aulas didn’t speak, but reached out and pulled Caspian up.
“We’ll talk about this later.” Atlas said, his eyes scanning the surroundings warily. He felt that, except for the Bennett Villa, there was nowhere else safe. Their movements could be monitored at any moment.
“Fine,” Caspian muttered, nodding. He had no choice, or rather, he couldn’t choose.
“The two of them drove back to the Bennett Villa, but once inside, the atmosphere felt strangely suffocating. It was so tense that it felt hard to breathe. They exchanged a glance before walking in quickly.
“Good–for–nothing. Who told you to marry her? A widow from the Stewart family! How dare you get involved with her?” Windsor yelled, his face twisted with fury-
“You married an old acquaintance of your mother’s! A woman whose husband is dead! What were you thinking? How dare you! You’re out of your mind!” He threw his coffee cup, and it shattered against the wall.
His chest hurt terribly from his anger, still wrapped in bandages from his injuries.
mit him. They just removed the sharp stone from his chest, stopped the bleeding.
“Windsor had been rushed to the hospital, but they wouldn’t admit and made him pay before sending him on his way.
“He would never forget the cold look the doctor gave him. “Sorry, we don’t accept members of the Bennett family here. You can leave now, You’re not going to die.”
“After paying the bill, the doctor had called security to escort him out.
“Windsor had never felt so humiliated in his life. Even when injured, the hospital had refused to treat him.
“He had barely returned to the Bennett Villa when he saw Henry come back, which only made him angrier.
“Windsor hurled an ashtray at Henry, hitting h him on the forehead, Blood began to seep from the wound, but Henry just sneered, looking up at him with cold eyes
“Henry said, “Compared to you, what am I? You even dared to sleep with
Sophia
“You abandoned your wife and kids for years and went off to enjoy yourself abroad. Did you ever care about the family? When things went wrong, had to take the responsibility. Now that you’re back, you’re acting all high and mighty in front of me?
“You came back and immediately rushed to sleep with Sophia in the house? Who do you think you are, telling me what to do? I married Edic because at least she has the backing of the Stewart family?
“Even if she doesn’t, she’s still connected to the Simp scoffed.

“He continued. “You don’t know, do you? She’s now a woman who sleeps with anyone. She’s seduced everyone in the Bennett family. Do you that? She’s been after every one of your sons, and even slept with a conman just to buy Love Spell.”
“Windsor was stunned for a moment. His face immediately darkened, the anger surging inside him.
“He wasn’t scolding Henry because he thought he was in the right, but to put on the father’s authority. But he didn’t expect Henry to show him no respect
“Just then, Allas and Caspian
Caspian returned. Seeing Henry humiliate Windsor in front of them only made Windsor feel more ashamed. “Enough.“Windsor said, gritting his teeth. The blood from his chest wound continued to seep out. His face turned pale as he clutched! collapsing onto the couch.
thed his chest,
“Mom” Atlas and Caspian rushed forward, calling out
“Windsor froze. He had thought his sons would come to check on him in his miserable state. Instead, they walked past him and headed for the hallway.
“Windsor thought they had called the wrong name, but then he saw them heading straight for Hannah

“Hannah, struggling to come down the stairs, was still injured, with a broken leg that hadn’t healed yet. She leaned on the handrail, her face dark as she looked at everyone in the living room.
“Atlas and Caspian quickly moved to support her, helping her sit down on the couch. She looked at Windsor, still clutching his chest, and then at
Henry
“Isn’t the Bennett family chaotic enough already! Since we’re divorced, Windsor, you should know. The Bennett family is not just yours, and the Bennett Group is not something you can control,” Hannah’s voice was stern,

to lay a hand on your sons, don’t blame me for throwing you out,” she said coldly, her voice sharp.
Windsor stood frozen, unable to believe what he was beating. He clutched his chest and stared at the woman in front of him.
“Is this the woman who always used to cower before me! just a few years have passed, and she doesn’t even care about me anymore? he wondered.
“Well this is truly something. It seems you’ve forgotten. It was you who climbed into my bed in the first place. Don’t forget what you promised when you married me. Windsor said coldly.
The moment he finished speaking, Hannah’s expression changed. Her face drained of color as she stared at Windsor.
“He pulled something from his pocket and squeezed it tightly.
“Hannah’s eyes widened in shock as she reached out to stop him, but as soon as her hand moved, a sharp pain shot through her chest, and she coughed up a mouthful of blood.
“With a loud thud. Hannah fell straight to the
floor, collapsing from the couch.
“Mom!” The others rushed to her side, quickly helping her up.
The living room descended into chaos. Caspian scooped Hannah up and rushed her upstairs, while Atlas immediately dialed for a doctor. Only Henry stood there, calm and unmoving.
“He watched Windsor handle the object in his hand, his eyes darkening.
“Though Henry didn’t know exactly what Windsor held, he could tell that it was related to the blood Hannah had just coughed up
“What kind of secret is there between our parents that we don’t know about? Henry thought. Was Windsor sleeping with Sophia just for physical pleasure, or is there something else?
How did Sophia get her hands on Love Spell and even manage to manipulate Finnion to do her bidding?
All these questions caused Henry to grow still. After all, he was the president of the Bennett Group. When faced with such strange circumstances, his mind couldn’t help but start piecing things together.
“Everything happening around him felt too odd. The Bennett Group’s downfall overnight couldn’t have just been caused by the Stewart family’s influence alone. Henry believed there must be something else, something he didn’t know.
“What is it? What is going on?” Henry muttered quietly to himself. He felt like he was on the verge of understanding something, but it kept slipping away from his grasp.
“Henry, don’t forget that you’re a member of the Bennett family.” Windsor’s cold voice broke his thoughts. He tucked the object away, turned, and placed a hand on his chest as he headed upstairs.
“Once upstairs, Windsor saw Henry staring at him darkly, his expression filled with hostility.
“Windsor sneered. As he passed by Hannah’s bedroom, he hesitated for a moment before stopping.
“Seeing Atlas and Caspian flustered only seemed to fuel Windsor’s disdain. He pushed open the door to his study and stepped inside, closing it behind him. The moment the door shut, he felt a wave of nausea rise in his chest.
“With a loud cough, Windsor spat blood once again.
He collapsed onto his knees, clutching his chest as he quickly fumbled for 1
d for his phone and dialed a number.
“What’s going on Why is my body reacting this way? Why has everything been going wrong since I came back to this country? What is happening?” Windsor asked urgently.
othly for me. Why is everything falling apart as soon as I return?” Windsor
“You said that once three years passed, everything would go smoothly demanded, his voice trembling with suspicion.

He started to doubt everything, wondering if he had been deceived. But for the three years abroad, he had indeed enjoyed smooth sailing
“Show me your face on video, the person on the other end suddenly said.
“Windsor quickly switched the call to video mode, but the screen was pitch black. He couldn’t see the other person’s face, though his own face was clearly visible on the screen
The study was so dark that he couldn’t even see his own hand in front of him, and the eerie silence was overwhelming.
“Windsor clenched his fists, waiting for an answer. But after a long pause, the call was abruptly disconnected with a loud click.
“What does this mean? Damn, you’re messing with me?” Windsor muttered in disbelief.
He quickly picked up his phone and looked down at the screen. Sure enough, the video call had been disconnected.
