“Henry…custom–made for her?” Orson shook his head, skeptical. “That Henry is older than her.”
If anyone had been custom–made for anyone, it would make sense if it were Sophia who was crafted to suit Henry’s needs. It would imply t Henry had needed an heir or someone to pave the way for his future. That now, the situation was reversed–this was impossible,

“Sophia may not be as much younger as we think Odalys replied, her voice low but confident. She looks completely unrecognizable now, and her body is older than Henry’s. Her real age is much greater than any of us realize.”
She paused, her eyes narrowing as if trying to piece together the mystery. “But someone’s been using a talisman to shield her true form. We can’t uncover her real nature for now, but given her cument trajectory, it won’t be long before she shows her true face”
Orson held his breath. The revelation shook him to his core.
“Odalys, what do we do now?” He asked, his voice full of determination. His hands were restless, eager to get started.
“Take some blood from both Sophia and Henry, as well as hair samples. Keep them for later, Odalys instructed. Then, we’ll need to conduct a full examination of their bodies. The details need to be thorough, especially with Sophia. I need to know her body’s structure inside and out–where it’s been manipulated. The more information, the better”
She paused, her lips curling into a cold, knowing smile. “Once we’ve gathered everything, we’ll spread the word that Sophia is pregnant. As for whose child it is let the Bennett family figure that one out.”
Onson’s eyes widened, but he hesitated. “But she’s not pregnant. If they check, it be exposed.”
Odaly’s smile deepened. “We won’t let her be truly pregnant, but we can make everyone believe she is. That’s all we need. Let’s creat where she has no answers, where no matter what she says, she can’t explain it. The Bennett family will be at each other’s throats, and no one will
create a scandal know the truth. Especially considering her previous entanglements with that fake magician, Windsor, and her current relationship with Henry–or the lack thereof–it doesn’t matter. The public sees one thing, and that’s all that counts
Her voice dripped with venom as she thought about Sophia’s past actions. “Let her face the consequences of being unable to explain herself” “Got it. I’ll handle the rest,” Orson n said, nodding with a dangerous glint in his eyes.
He immediately put on gloves, preparing to extract blood from both Henry and Sophia, making sure to collect hair samples and store them in the proper bags.

“Tell me about it.” Freya muttered, clenching her fists. “I want to go back and give her a few more. After all, she’s the one who cursed my house, and got me caught up in all that mess with Edie, I spent all that money, only to find out the house was haunted.” She seethed, barely able to hold back

Odalys, overhearing them, smiled. “Not done venting yet?”
Hearing her voice, Freya and Selah turned around, their faces brightening in an instant.
“Did you handle everything” Freya asked eagerly. “Did you separate their bodies? I can’t believe Orson was slick enough to use 302 glue on Henry. It really gave off an… intimate vibe, didn’t it? He’s good at creating misunderstandings.”
Odalys chuckled lightly. “I’m sure Orson handled it well.”
Selah, ever curious, approached Odalys, wrapping her arm around hers. “So, Odalys, what’s next! Anything for me and Freya to do?”
Odalys checked the time on her phone, her expression unreadable. “It’s almost noon. Don’t you two need to rest? You still have that don’t you?”

Suddenly, their faces lit up again, smiles returning in an instant. “Great! We’ll see you later!” Freya said, practically skipping as she left.
As they disappeared around the comer, Odalys made her way to the elevator. But just as she reached it, a figure suddenly hinged at her from the shadows.
Without missing a beat, Odalys spun on her heel, her hand shooting out to grab the figure by the neck
Finnian let out a strangled scream as her fingers tightened around his throat, slamming him into the wall. He gasped for air, eyes wide with panic. “Odalys… let go… it’s me…” Finnian choked out, his voice full of pain and fear.
He struggled against her grip, but Odalys held him in place, her strength unyielding. His face was turning purple as she squeezed harder, her gaze as cold as ice.
“Last time, 1 spared you for Orson’s sake. But now… you’ve come to me, right to my doorstep. Do you really think Windsor can save you? Or that the Bennett family’s promises will get you what you want?” Odalys voice was a deadly whisper, her eyes narrowing into an unforgiving glare.
