Chapter 262
Sienna was a bit surprised, but not ton shocked,
These days, variety shows were everywhere, and if an artist hadn’t participated in one, it was hard to claim he was famous. This particular show was a dance–themed competition, so it made sense for Yvette to join–it was right up her alley.
Sienna remembered that Yvette had studied dance before, but when she was learning, she was a little older than most, and some of the basic skills she missed out on were hard to catch up on In the end, she gave up.
The crew member glanced at the list and specifically mentioned, “Yvette is with East Entertainment, which is under the Flynn Group. She’s really popular right now, so please take extra care, Ms. Shaw
li seemed like the team was invested in her. “Okay” Sienna nodded without any hesitation.
She would do her job well and treat everyone in her group equally. As for the production team’s expectations, that wasn’t something she could control. She was just a consultant.
The crew member said. “Ms. Shaw, once you’re in position, your group will be complete. How about we meet this afternoon?”
“Sure” Sienna had no problem with that–it was a regular workday anyway. At once, her assistant contacted the artists in her group, setting up a meeting at the studio later that afternoon to discuss their first performance.
Sienna stayed for lunch with the production team. In the afternoon, the artists began arriving one by one. There were six people in her group, but no one knew how many would make it to the end.
Sienna waited in the small meeting room, and Yvette was the last to show up
“Sorry, I’m late.” Yvette said as she pushed open the door, removing her winter coat and handing it to her assistant. She apologized, but she was the most famous person in the room with the strongest backing, so no one dared hold it against her.
“It’s fine”
“We just got here too.”
Yvette smiled, looked up, and saw Sienna sitting at the head of the table. “Sienna

production assistant Shannon Lawrence raised an eyebrow. “Do you two know each other?”
Yvette laughed, flicking her hair. She winked at Sienna and said, “We’ve known each other since we were kids. We grew up together.”
Sienna snorted inwardly. “Who would want to have a childhood friend like her”
“That’s awesome!” Shannon took Yvette’s word for it. “Ms. Shaw is the guide for this group. Since you two are so close, I’m sure Yvette will make it to the finals without a doubt”
Yvette flashed a bright smile. “Sienna, I’m counting on you”
“Of course, Sienna nodded, offering a faint smile.
The other artists in the group exchanged quiet glances. They thought. ‘See? Yvette’s already got this in the bag. We’ll just have to hope for the best Sienna gestured for everyone to sit down. “Let’s get started. For our first performance, the production team wants a group number” Of course, there would also be a few seconds of solo time for each artist.

The girl said, “Okay, Ms. Shaw,”
After everyone had shared their experiences, Sienna said, “It seems like most of you have some dance foundation. Let’s head to the rehearsal room, and I have you show me a routine.

“No problem!”
Once everything was set, the meeting wrapped up.
Over the past few days, Sienna had been temporarily staying at the television studio, and the production team had given her a key to a dressing room. As she was leaving, she bumped into Yvette at the front door.
“Sienna,” Yvette said, wearing sunglasses and a face mask, Her expression was hidden, but her tone suggested she was in a good mood. “I didn’t expect you to be such a great dancer! I’m so happy for you that you’re here as a consultant.”
Sienna’s expression remained neutral. “Thanks.”
As they were talking, a blue Maybach pulled up in front of them. “Howard is here to pick me up” Yvette said, then turned to invite Sienna, “Where are you headed? Hop in and we’ll give you a ride.”
“Don’t bother.” Sienna waved her hand in refusal. “Josiah is coming soon
“Oh.” Yvette smiled with a knowing look. “Well, I won’t interrupt your date then. We’re leaving”
At the bottom of the stairs, Howard had already gotten out of the car and was holding the door open for her. Yvette bent down to get into the car in
great mood.
Yvette hadn’t been staying at the Flynn residence for the past few days, but Howard had been over to visit her frequently, calling her nonstop, always waiting for her to pick her up and cat together. It was clear he still cared about her.
“Where are we going? Yvette asked, linking her arm with Howard’s and resting her head on his shoulder.
“Anywhere you want.” Howard said in his usual way. Whatever you like, I’m good with it”
“Then I’ll take charge.” Yvette said with a satisfied grin as she made her decision. Suddenly, her hand froze as it brushed against something
Her intuition gave her a rough idea even though she wasn’t quite sure. Yvette remained calm and subtly took
ok whatever it was into her pocket Throughout the drive, she didn’t reveal anything. When the car stopped and Howard got out, she took the opportunity to pick it up. She wasn’t wrong. It was a silver earplug! Only women used such things–at least, that was the case in the Flynn family,
This car was Howard’s, and he only used it to pick her up. Normally, he drove a Rolls–Royce. So whose was this? she thought
A sharp pain shot through Yvette’s heart, and she recalled the hairpin that Howard had kept with such care. She had once thought it belonged to Sienna, but now she realized the true owner was someone else.
She thought. That woman must be Bobby’s mother! Howard lied to me! He swore he wasn’t in touch with Bobby’s mother. So where did this earplug come from?
All the small, thoughtful gestures Howard had made recently suddenly felt like a joke to her.
The car door opened, and Howard extended his hand to her. “Be careful, Yvette.”
Yvette forced a simile and took his hand as she got out of the car.

With the experience from the past, she didn’t make a scene this time. Arguing wouldn’t gether anywhere–Howard wouldn’t admit anything. She needed to find a way to investigate quietly and uncover the truth about that woman.
Not long after, Josiah arrived. “Sienna,” he said as he stepped out of the car and walked over to take her hand.
Sienna looked at him with a sharp gaze. “Why are y

“Guess who I ran into today. Sienna squinted her eyes at him.
“Who?” Josiah raised an eyebrow, puzzled.
Sienna scoffed lightly. “Playing dumb. huh?”

Tim not Josiah slapped his forehead. “You’re here as a consultant, so let me guess… you ran into Yvette, right?”
Sienna gave him a mocking look but didn’t say anything.
“I swear I don’t know!” Josiah seemed genuinely aggrieved. “East Entertainment was created by Howard for Yvette, and now that he’s awake, naturally he’s the one handling her affairs. You have to believe me.”
Sienna didn’t say anything as her phone suddenly rang. She picked it up and saw it was another strange number. She held her breath and answered
“Who’s this?”
“Sienna!” A panicked voice came through the line–it was Rosie.
