“Rosic?” Sienna’s voice was filled with both surprise and joy. She hadn’t seen Rosie since she was discharged from the hospital. “How are you! Your eyes, are they.”

Rosie let out a soft gasp, too flustered to say anything. She quickly hung up.
“Rosie?” Sienna was left stunned. She thought, What’s going on? Rosie called but didn’t say a word. The whole thing lasted less than ten seconds
Sienna held her phone, frowning in confusion.
“What’s wrong?” Josiah asked. He was uninterested in Rosie’s situation, but noticing Sienna’s distress, he was worried. ‘Is your friend in trouble!” Sienna looked up, her frown still tense. Maybe it was because Josiah was the only one near her, or maybe it was because he had been treating her decently lately, she subconsciously began to trust him,

Without overthinking, she blurted out. The number was hidden. Do you know any way to trace the caller?” him the call log. “Rosie just called me, but the number was blocked”

“I think something’s off.” Sienna said, her mind feeling a bit scrambled. “I’m worried that Rosie might be in some kind of danger.”
“Why?” Josiah asked, his tone casual. He was familiar with Rosie’s situation. “Wasn’t she picked up by her grandfather? How could she be in danger at his place!”
Sienna frowned, skeptical. Then why would she call me from a hidden number? And her voice sounded strange.
“Was she crying? Was she asking for help?” Josiah asked.
“Not really.” Sienna shook her head. “But she seemed really frantic…
There had been another voice, one that sounded like a servant, but there was something off about it–an unspoken threat and pressure. As soon as that voice appeared, the call was abruptly cut off
She thought, Did Rosie end the call? Or was it the servant? Had something happened to her?
“My only clue is the hidden number. Can you help me trace it?” Sienna asked, then suddenly paused. She realized how casual her request sounded- like she was asking him to grab her a glass of water.
Josiah smirked as he looked at her with a gaze that was both intense and teasing. He felt that she was getting a bit forward with him and he was sure that she knew it

“Why not?” Josiah raised his eyebrows, smiling wider as he leaned in and whispered into her ear, “A guy can’t say no in front of his girlfriend.”

To prove himself, as soon as they got back to Silver Beach and entered the house, Josiah embraced Sienna and engaged in a passionate kiss.

Sienna tightened her grip, and Josiah could practically feel his hair being pulled out. Without missing a beat, he quickly carried her downstairs and placed her in a chair at the dining table. Wait a minute. Dinner is almost ready”
The servant had already prepared dinner and left. The soup was kept warm in the pots, but the dishes had gone cold, Josiah moved quickly, reheated the dishes, served the soup, and set them in front of Sienna. “Here you go.”
Sienna was too hungry to even respond. She nodded, practically burying her face in her bowl.
“Don’t rush” Josiah frowned. “Slow down, or you’ll choke.
He, on the other hand, was eating even faster than she was. When Sienna was still drinking her soup, Josiah was already done with his meal. He casually picked up his phone and called someone. It’s me. Yeah, can you trace a number for me?”
He called Zach, all for the sake of finding out what had happened with Rosie.
Josiah said. “I need an update as soon as you have something.”
After hanging up, Sienna had finished eating and was looking at him eagerly.
“What’s wrong!” Josiah raised an eyebrow. “Are you full and now want more?” He sighed dramatically, stood up, and bent down to pick her up. “Okay, I’ll give it to you.”
“Ah! That hurts!” A sharp yelp escaped his lips as Sienna twisted his arm with a firm grip.

Sienna had a training session with the artists today, so she would be a bit late. Josiah decided to check things out first.
Rosie’s vision was blurred–she couldn’t see. She had no idea where she was or how she even ended up here. The last thing she remembered was being in the hospital, but when she woke up, she found herself in an unfamiliar place.
At first, she thought something terrible like a kidnapping had happened, but it didn’t feel quite like that. She wasn’t being mistreated here. She had a place to stay, with servants attending to her every need.
A doctor even came by every day to check her wounds and change the bandages.
She was being taken care of too well. However, she couldn’t contact anyone outside of this place.
In addition to the servants, there was a bodyguard. He was there to protect her but also to keep an eye on her. The furthest she could go was the
yard.
As soon as
as she neared the gate, the bodyguard would appear and tell her, “Ms. Miller, it’s time to go back inside.”
She was scared. It felt like she was being imprisoned.
Suddenly, the doorbell rang Someone was here.
