“Yvette?” Josiah rushed in, his face still filled with concern and panic as he looked at her
Yvette raised an eyebrow with a smile spreading across her face. “Did 1 scare you?”
She pushed herself forward in the wheelchair, looking a bit embarrassed. “Sorry about that. I wasn’t feeling well earlier, and the nurse overreacted and called you, but I’m feeling much bener now.”
Josiah studied her for a moment. Seeing that she did seem okay, he let out a sigh of relief and nodded. “I’m glad you’re alright”
He turned to the side, took a few steps, and sat down on the couch. He tugged at his tic, clearly in a bad mood.
“What’s going on?” Yvette raised an eyebrow. “You seem upset. Is it because of me!”
“No… Josiah instinctively shook his head.
“Don’t deny it” Yvette smiled playfully, teasing. “Tve known you for so many years and I can tell when you’re upset.” Josiah fell silent
“What’s wrong?” Yvette stopped smiling and asked, “Can’t you tell me?” She lowered her head, letting out a faint sigh. “I can guess it’s because of Sienna, right?”
Josiah froze for a moment, his gaze flick

“I already saw it,” Yvette spoke before he could. “That whole buzz about her admirer showing up at the set is all over the trending news”
It had been quickly suppressed. Without asking, Yvette knew it was Josiah who had ordered it to be taken down.
She continued, “Did you go see her just now? Did you figure out what
happened?”
Josiah frowned, not giving a clear answer. “It’s just some admirer of hers. No big deal.”
“Is that so!” Yvette smiled. “You don’t look like it’s ‘no big deal”
Josiah paused and decided not to argue any further. His mood was just terrible. He had forced Sienna into agreeing to his proposal, but her attitude was clearly distant and resistant.
