Chapter 6
Seeing Samson’s expression, Antonio was baffled, and he snatched the surveillance footage over to watch.
Then he was equally stunned.
The surveillance footage clearly showed that I didn’t write a single word on my papers.
In other words, I turned in blank papers for all my subjects.
When I found out that I had been guaranteed admission to MIT, my instinct was to withdraw from the SAT for the sake of my revenge. In this way, Vivian wouldn’t stand a chance to plagiarize my essay.
However, on second thought, I realized that I was in the same examination room as Antonio, and Samson was the proctor. Once they discovered that I hadn’t taken the SAT, they would surely be on their guard.
To avoid spooking them, I discussed with my head teacher whether I could hand in blank papers during the SAT.
He said it was fine as long as I didn’t find it boring.
figured that since I had already been admitted to MIT, I could afford to fool around a bit. It wouldn’t matter.
Seeing that I wrote nothing on my papers, Vivian, Samson, and Antonio were slack–jawed; their faces utterly pale.

“Who knows? This straight–A student seems so pretty and harmless. Yet she’s actually so nasty. So much for the heiress. to a family of scholars.”
“So true. She actually smears her classmate. And the proctor is no better than her. He helped her slander his own sister! What kind of brother is that? Is he for real? What a shameless jerk.”
“Truly an eye–opener. You know, I saw this whole plagiarism thing online a few days ago. Vivian has always portrayed herself as a top student while secretly inciting cyberbullying against Grace. But one of my relatives works at this high school, and I heard that Grace had actually been guaranteed admission to MIT long ago. Does Grace really need to plagiarize her essay? That’s rich!”
Samson saw this real–time comment and questioned me in great disbelief.
“Grace, you were already guaranteed admission to MIT? Why didn’t you tell me? I’ve spent most of my time and energy just so that you can bring out your best in the SAT. Are you feeling good while watching me get busy every day just for nothing?”
Antonio echoed, “He’s right. Grace, you’re so vicious.
“You acted like you knew nothing. To think I came bringing you soup every day! I was so stupid.”
I sneered, “You both act like you care about me.

“But who’s it for? Who’s the one you truly care about? Me, or Vivian? You know the answer better than anyone.
“Stop claiming that you want nothing but me getting a high score on the SAT. You just want me to be Vivian’s stepping stone. You phonies.”
Being seen through, Samson was a bit exasperated.
“No matter what, you shouldn’t smear Vivian. You know better than I how important a girl’s reputation is.
“Aren’t you worried Vivian will sue you for defamation?”
Hearing this, Vivian cried even harder.
“Samson, I never did such a thing. Grace slandered me!
“Please make things right for me…”
While saying this, she pulled the police officer’s arm.
“Sir, I was framed. Grace is the one you should arrest.”
The policeman pulled off her hand with a serious expression, saying in a cold voice.
“The fact that we’re here to take you means we’ve got proof. We never act recklessly.
“We didn’t expose you because we wanna save you some face, considering you’re still a high school student. But since you don’t appreciate it, forget it.”
Vivian turned ghastly pale at once.
