Chapter 10

After the paternity test results with Samson came out, although I was surprised, on second thought, it was within my expectations.
He really wasn’t my brother.
My gut told me it was just the beginning.
So, I had someone look into him.
Then I was genuinely surprised.
It turned out that Vivian was his biological sister.
I, on the other hand, was the daughter of the professors at MIT.
Back then, when my mom gave birth, she shared a delivery room with Samson’s mom.
The two families‘ situations were very different.
The Lindsey family was a scholarly family with assets of more than ten million dollars, and all their friends were either rich or noble.
The Lindsey couple would surely dote on their little girl.
On the contrary, the Parrish family was just mediocre. The Parrish couple already had a boy, and the little girl’s fate was self–explanatory.

Samson adored Vivian, his younger sister. To give her a better life, he switched me with her behind everyone’s back.
Just like that, I went from the lady of a prestigious family to a girl from an ordinary household.
As for Vivian? Samson changed her name as well as her fate.
Luckily, with my parents‘ genes in me, I had been performing well academically since I was a child.
All the neighbors found it hard to believe I was a Parrish.
But back then, I thought it was merely a compliment and never doubted my identity.
Yet the truth was, I wasn’t a Parrish.
Knowing that I had already learned the truth, Samson was about to do something, his gaze turning ferocious.
I smirked, “Dear brother, really?
“You’re gonna kill me to keep me from telling the truth?
“Are you sure Vivian is worth it?”
With that, I pulled out my phone and played a recording.
I recorded that with a recording pen that I secretly planted on Vivian.
“Samson is such a pain in the ass. He’s as annoying as that simp Antonio! Does he really believe I think of him as my brother? He’s delusional!
“He’s just my dad’s lapdog. But I’m from a well–off family. He

doesn’t even get to stay in the same room as me. He wants to use me to climb up the social ladder? Come on. He’s so old. How shameless! A typical social climber.
“And don’t even get me starting on Antonio. He’s disgusting. hate men who don’t have self–knowledge. They promised they’d help me achieve the top score on the SAT, or I wouldn’t have talked to them at all.”
Samson’s expression changed.
The fierceness on his face was replaced by fury.
Perhaps he was going to settle scores with Vivian.
It never occurred to him that the sweet sister he had been doting on in fact looked down on him all this time.
Karma treated everyone equally.
After a long time, I heard news about them again. Samson was dead, and Vivian was locked up in jail.
It turned out Vivian didn’t know she wasn’t the Lindsey couple’s daughter.
After listening to the recording, Samson told her the truth about her identity with the last shred of hope.
He wanted her to accept him, her brother.
Unexpectedly, she didn’t believe him at all.
She even lost it and stabbed him with a fruit knife on the table out of panic.
Antonio happened to see the scene.

Driven by madness, she stabbed Antonio, too.
Antonio wasn’t severely injured, but Samson lost too much blood and died.
Vivian was sentenced to life imprisonment.
I was shocked when I learned the news, but then I found it
made sense.
Served them right.
The end.
