Chapter She Can Remember
Sierra was drugged. What kind of thing could they possibly discuss?
On the other side of the door, just as Fabian closed it, he suddenly felt someone attack from behind.
His eyes turned sharp as he instinctively dodged. To his surprise, the attacker moved faster than him. In a split second, the attacker used a grappling technique to restrain him. As he turned around, a petite figure threw herself into his arms directly.
She could barely control herself. Using the last shred of her sanity, she questioned him. “I told you to leave. Why didn’t you listen?”
Her heart screamed no, but her body gave herself away. She wanted to be in his arms so badly..
It was the first time a woman got so close to Fabian. His body tensed as he wanted to distance himself from her.
Unexpectedly, she was actually skilled in fighting. He even started to use fighting moves, but none of them worked.
“Sierra, who are you?” No ordinary person could execute her moves. His gaze turned cold and sinister as he stared at her.
“You heard, didn’t you?” Sierra’s face was flushed. With determination in her eyes, she took use of his force and got on top of him.
No one had ever been able to pull this off before, and Fabian couldn’t help but raise his hand to strike her. However, in the next second, she deflected his hand easily and even pinned it down, making him unable to
move at all.
Even the veins on his forehead were throbbing. “You’re quite something, Sierra.”
During all those years, she was the first woman who could get under hist skin this much.
Noticing his exasperation. Sierra coldly stared at him. “I told you you’d regret it. You didn’t believe me.”
With that, she couldn’t help but lean on his chest again.
It felt so good.
Fabian, however, felt so insulted. Not caring if he might hurt her, he broke free from her restraint, got up swiftly, and pinned her beneath him. “You’re no match for me.”
Though he claimed so stubbornly, he was secretly surprised–she actually used the common grappling techniques of international mercenaries.
He expected to see the surprised look on her face. Yet, as he looked at her, he saw her flushed face, which was exceptionally alluring, and her hazy eyes. It seemed she was finding it even harder to control herself due to the physical contact just now. Also, her wet jacket had slipped off during the struggle, revealing her fair shoulder.
For a moment, he was actually mesmerized, feeling a heat surging from his lower part.
She was indeed captivating.
He froze, while Sierra’s hands took the chance to wander.
With the last shred of sanity left, she told herself she was temporarily using him to relieve the effects, and she just needed to hold out for a little while longer. The antidote would be here soon.
To her surprise, after a few seconds, he acted and took the initiative. There was something soft on her lips, which were soon parted. Then

something wet and warm invaded her mouth.
It was her first kiss. Her mind went blank at once; little did she know she’d lose her first kiss here.
The intense passion overwhelmed her so quickly that she sank into it completely. Eventually, she felt her consciousness slipping away from
her….
Different scenes flashed before her eyes, and it felt so unreal that she could no longer tell whether she was in a dream or not….
In the blink of an eye, the next day arrived. The curtains fluttered in the breeze, and sunlight streamed into the room, casting a warm golden glow.
Sierra suddenly woke up and instinctively opened her eyes to look around. She was still in the room..
What was going on? She couldn’t remember anything. What the heck happened last night?
As she looked down, she saw that her clothes had been changed into pajamas, and there was nothing underneath.
“Damn it… What did I do last night?” she murmured, not having a clue.
All she could vaguely remember was that she had wanted to eavesdrop on who was coming to find her. Then she couldn’t hold back and attacked Fabian. And then they got entangled with each other, and after that… they kissed…
Then…
She couldn’t remember a thing. Shit!
Sighing, she realized the first thing she had to do now was leave.

Everything else could wait.
Glancing at the clothes beside her, she picked them up, put them on quickly, and then walked towards the door.
In the Cordova’s mansion. Trevon and Karla were enjoying breakfast. Isabella went downstairs and walked to the dining table, noticing Sierra wasn’t around.
“Morning. Mom. Morning, Dad,” she greeted Trevon and Karla politely.
“Morning. Isla.” Karla responded, looking at her.
After sitting down. Isabella asked Karla in a small voice, “Mom, where’s Sierra?”
“She’s probably upstairs sleeping. With so many people around yesterday, she must have been exhausted.
“Let’s eat and let her sleep,” Karla replied gently.
