“How can you be so rude? As the class monitor, I demand you leave Class A immediately!” Miley glared at Sierra. She felt humiliated to be insulted by someone else in her own class.
No wonder she was so arrogant. It turned out she was the class monitor.
“Even if you’re the class monitor, I’m afraid you don’t have the right to do that.” After all, Sierra had refused the position of class monitor her. If, and Miley had no right to boss her around.
“How dare…!” Miley was so enraged that even her glasses were crooked from the heat of her anger.
“I am the class monitor, and I have the authority to maintain order here in Class A!” Miley tried to assert dominance again.
“What’s all the shouting about?!” Mr. Potts happened to pass by Class A and entered when he heard the noise.
Miley, who was already furious, jumped at his voice and turned to meet Mr. Potts‘ gaze.
“M… Mr. Potts!” Miley froze, too scared to even breathe.
“Miley, what’s going on here?” Mr. Potts stood at the door, questioning her.
“Mr. Potts, this student is not from our class. I asked her to leave, but she refused and even insulted me.” Miley immediately tried to shift the blame.

“Who is that bold to cause trouble at school?” Mr. Potts strode toward the
scene in anger.
“It’s her.” Miley pointed at Sierra, who was sitting at her desk.
Mr. Potts took a moment to examine Sierra. He realized he had never seen.
her around the school.
“Which class are you in?” Mr. Potts asked sternly.
“Class A,” Sierra glanced at Mr. Potts and responded.
Mr. Potts furrowed his brow slightly. He had visited Class A several times and had never seen her before. “Then what’s your name?”
“Sierra Cordova.”
Mr. Potts‘ eyes suddenly widened. Although he hadn’t seen her before, he knew the name. “You’re Sierra? The top student?”
“Yep.” Sierra replied calmly with a single word.
The students in the class immediately erupted in excitement upon hearing her response. Even Miley was shocked, too.
“I can’t believe it’s her!”
“What a grand entrance!”
“And she’s so pretty! I think she must be the class belle!”

“This is going to be fun. Let’s see how Miley will handle this…” The students whispered among themselves.

Mr. Potts noticed the students‘ excitement and shared their joy. The mysterious top student, Sierra, had finally appeared in person.
“Miley! As the class monitor, you should have made a thorough investigation before making assumptions. You’ve caused such a big misunderstanding! You’re not fit for this role!” Mr. Potts scolded Miley
sternly.
Miley felt utterly embarrassed at Mr. Potts‘ public rebuke. Her face turned bright red.
“Alright, let’s call it an end.”
“Sierra, if you have any requests, you can come to my office anyti
“Time for studying again, guys and gals.” Mr. Potts gave a final glance at the class before leaving.
After Mr. Potts left, Miley shot Sierra a hateful look. She blamed Sierra for not explaining things properly, causing her to be scolded in front of the whole class. She vowed to take revenge.
Paying no attention to the students‘ gazes, she took out a book and started reading it
The bell rang for class to begin, and Ms. Bailey walked in, scanning the class before spotting Sierra, whom she didn’t know.
“Miss, which class are you from? Why are you in our class? Go back to your class,” Ms. Bailey scolded.
“Ms. Bailey, she’s from our class! She’s Sierra Cordova, the top student in the school!” A student spoke up, eager to report to Ms. Bailey.
“Oh! So it’s Sierra.” Ms. Bailey smiled warmly and turned to look at her closely.
“Why didn’t you tell me you’d be coming to class? I could have arranged a seat for you,” Ms. Bailey said, slightly excited, as if Sierra’s arrival had made the whole class shine.
“Miley, each one of your line, please move your seat one desk back so that Sierra can sit in the front row,” Ms. Bailey looked at Miley and said.
Miley, shocked by Ms. Bailey’s words, glanced at her in a daze. She remained seated. She had always sat in the first row and refused to give up her seat for the newcomer.
