The three Schuler brothers all wore matching scowls as they turned to glare at her!
Rosa clenched her fists, trying to hold back her anger. “Why are you throwing a party in my bridal suite
Lev frowned, his tone so casual it was almost mocking. “This is the Schuler family’s house. We’re throwing Abby’s birthday party here. Got a problem with that?”
Austin’s eyes were icy. “Rosa, it’s not like this bridal suite is ever going to get used. No matter who you marry, we’re not coming home. Might as well put the space to good use now.“%
Aiden let out a sharp laugh. “Honestly, Abby’s party is the best thing that’s ever happened to this place. Why are you acting like you’ve been wronged?
Right then, Abigail practically skipped over, her arms overflowing with gifts
Ms. Swanson! Look–this dress is custom–made, Lev picked it out for me. There’s not another like it in the world. Isn’t it gorgeous?” She beamed, twirling the hanger.
“And this–Austin got me a cruise!” She held up a stack of tickets, grinning ear to earl
“Oh, and this is a deed to an estate from Aiden. We should go visit together sometime, don’t you think?”
She showcased every present like it was a treasure, her eyes sparkling with excitement.
“They’re so sweet to me—so many gifts, and they let me have my party here. Since you’re already here, why don’t you join us?“!
Rosa was shaking, her composure slipping. She snapped, “I’ve told you over and over, I’m not marrying any of you! This isn’t our bridal suite, and none of you have the right to be here!”
“Rosa, come on. How long are you going to keep up this act?” one of the brothers scoffed. There’s only three of us you could possibly marry. Who else is it going to be?
“Hit’s not us, then prove it–call your fiancé. Show us who he is.T
Rosa’s temples throbbed as everyone’s eyes bore into her
Right then, her phone rang.X
PHIL flashed across the screen.
Her heart nearly stopped. She blinked away angry tears and held up her phone. “Find You want to know who my fiancé is? He’s calling night now. I’ll show you all exactly who he is!

She tumed her phone around for everyone
In seconds, the whole room crowded in
But after three seconds, the room exploded with laughter.
“Ms. Swanson, weren’t you about to show us your fiancé? Why’s your phone screen black?”
“Haha! Couldn’t keep up the lie, huh? This is embarrassing
Rosa’s face drained of color as she frantically tried to tum her phone back on. Nothing
It was dead. Completely out of battery
She spun around, searching for her charger, but Lev blocked her path
“That’s enough. Haven’t you made a big enough scene?” he said coldly.

“Someone, brush this so–called bridal suite. Now”
At his word, several bodyguards stepped forward, faces stone–cold, and began smashing furniture and decorations. Crash Bang. The sound echoed through the room as some of the onlookers even joined in, eager to tear things apart
“What are you doing? You can’t just destroy this place!
“Lev, Austin, Alder–please, don’t Rosa screamed, trying to break free, but two guards held her back.
Tears streamed down her face as everything she’d carefully planned was destroyed in seconds. Her anger and grief twisted together, leaving her cold and empty incidet
Aiden glanced at her tear–streaked face, totally unmoved. “You really think crying is going to work on us again?”
“This is what you get for lying Stop trying to play games with us
Rosa watched as what used to be a warm, elegant suite was reduced to rubble. All hope drained out of her
The crowd left as chaotically as they’d arved, leaving her standing alone amid the wreckage
She didn’t know how long she wandered before she finally made it home, moving like a ghost il
As soon as her phone had enough charge to power on, she saw a string of missed calls from Phil
She steadied herself and called him back, nerves buzzing I
She and Phil weren’t really close–he was only five years older, but his status made him seem worlds apart. She’d barely spoken to him before, and only had a hazy impression of who he really was !!
