Chapter 1
Sean’s mistress Calista was in a car accident and needed a liver transplant. The only match was Bella’s mother.
The day Sean had her mother dragged onto the operating table, Bella dropped to her knees, begging until her voice was gone. Her forehead was pressed to the floor until it bled, but it didn’t matter. He just told his men to lock her in the empty guest room.
Three days later, the surgery ended. It was a success.
Sean stood in front of her, perfectly put together, eyes colder than she’d ever seen. “The surgery went well. I have someone looking after your mother,” he said. “I’ll be staying at the hospital with Calista for the next few days. I won’t be coming home.”}
Bella stared at the man who once would have done anything for her, tears long since dried up. Right before he walked away, she couldn’t help herself. Her voice was barely there. “Sean, you loved me so much. Why did you stop?“}
He paused, but didn’t turn around. “Our marriage is arranged by families, Bella. I never loved you.“>
The door closed with a final thump. Bella slid down the wall, hitting the floor as the last of her tears spilled over.
He never loved her? How could that be true?!
She knew it wasn’t. At least, not before. Not in her past life.
Yeah, Bella had been reborn.
Uh her last life, the Lopez and Rangel families arranged for her to marry Sean. Back then, he adored her. He gave her everything. If she wanted the moon, he’d never settle for the stars. If she mentioned liking a necklace, it was on her dresser the next day. When she was sick, he never left her side.
And she hated him for it.
Because she was in love with Brent, the boy she’d known since childhood.”
Forced into marriage, she fought Sean at every turn. She refused to share a bed, skipped every event, even flirting with models at bars. She went out of her way to embarrass him, making sure everyone knew she wanted nothing to do with him.§
In the end, she believed Brent’s lies and ran away.
She never realized Brent didn’t love her at all.
He only wanted reverige. His family and the Rangels were enemies, and he knew Sean cared about her. He only used her to get to Sean. He kidnapped her and told Sean, “Send me

On the tenth day, the last finger came. anymore, so she bit through her After that, she watched from above as Sean lost his mind seeing her body. He hunted down Brent himself, breaking every bone in his body. As Sean listened to Brent scream, his own eyes
e remained empty and cold.§
In the end, Sean left everything behind–his fortune, the company, everything. He walked into a burning building with her body in his arms. As the fire raged around them, he kissed her and whispered, “Bella, if there’s a next life… will you love me, just once?“}

As the flames took him top, Bella’s soul cried for him, finally seeing the love she’d missed.§
When she opened her eyes again, she was back to the first year of marriage.}]
She was overwhelmed, tears streaming down her face. She vowed to love Sean the way he deserved.
She deleted every trace of Brent. She made Sean breakfast every day, waited up for him every night, tried to fill her world with only him. Jowever, Sean was different now.
He wasn’t gentle anymore. He barely came home. He grew cold, distant–and even kept another girl outside their marriage.
Now, to save that girl’s life, he’d forced her mother onto an operating table.
After Sean left, Bella sat numbly on the cold floor. There were no tears left.”
Fine. If he didn’t love her this time, she’d let him go. She’d set him free, for good.
