Chapter 6
I used considerable force. Dante’s face jerked to the side, and a clear handprint appeared quickly.[]
He was stunned. Everyone was stunned.[]
He held his face, staring at me in disbelief, the fury in his eyes turning to humiliation.[]
“You… you hit me?“[]
“I’m waking you up.“]
My voice was cold as ice.[]
I looked around at all the spectators in the living room before fixing my gaze back on Dante’s face.[]
“You all think he’s the master here, the Blake family prince, right?“]
No one dared speak.
I laughed softly.
“Dante Blake, is that what you think too?“]
“Do you think you were born to have everything? This villa, the luxury cars outside, your company shares, and that unlimited black card I gave you?“[]
He didn’t answer, but his defiant look said everything.]
“Have you ever wondered why?“[]
“Why did Dad obviously favor you more, but leave 90% of the company shares to me?“]
“Why do I, your sister, have to act like some mother figure, smoothing every path for you, solving every problem, spoiling you without limits?“]
He was stumped by my questions.[]
These thoughts might have flickered through his mind before, but he’d taken it all for granted without ever digging deeper.[]
Looking at his confused and humiliated face, I finally decided to personally tear away the cruel truth I’d protected him from
for over a decade
“Because you don’t actually have the Blake name “[]
“You’re just a mistake my father made years ago.”
“Your mother was a woman whose name doesn’t even deserve to be recorded in the Blake family tree.“[]
“You, Dante Blake, are a love chuld.“[]
Chapter 6
I said these words softly, but they exploded like thunder in the silent living room.[]
All expression froze on Dante’s face.[]
He looked at me like he’d heard something from a fairy tale, pupils dilating, mouth slightly open, staring stupidly.[]
“What… what did you say?“[]
“I said,” I repeated each word clearly, “you’re a bastard.“[]
“When Dad brought you home, you were only three years old. Grandpa was so angry he nearly had a heart attack–he wanted to kick you and your mother out together.“]
“It was me.“[]
I pointed to myself.[]
“I knelt in front of Grandpa and begged him to let you stay.“[]
“I told him children were innocent.“[]
“I promised him I’d watch over you, guide you, never let you do anything that would disgrace the Blake family name.“[]
“To let you live legitimately in the Blake family, to spare you from carrying the stigma of being a bastard from childhood, I begged Dad and Grandpa to hide your origins from everyone.“[]
“I treated you like my real brother, gave you the best of everything, tried to make up for the maternal love you lacked, indulged your every whim.“[]
“I thought if I filled you up with love and material things, you’d grow into someone kind, decent, and responsible.”
I looked at his face, twisted with shock and panic, and laughed bitterly.[]
“Turns out I was wrong.“]]
“Dead wrong.“[]
“I didn’t raise a brother–1 raised an ungrateful bastard.“]
Dante staggered back two steps, bumping into the coffee table behind him with a dull thud.[]
He kept shaking his head, muttering: “No… impossible… you’re lying… you’re talking nonsense!“]
“Whether I’m talking nonsense or not, you can go home and ask Dad.“[]
1 looked at him coldly, completely shattering his last shred of hope.[]
“Though I think he’s probably too busy to see you right now.“[]
