Chapter 441
“Where are they?” Josiah asked indifferently, his face expressionless.
“Here they are,” replied Camilla as she hurriedly called the two nurses over. “Apologize to Mr. Evans.”
“Mr. Evans, we’re sorry…” said Frida and Avril
Josiah glanced down at the name tags on their chests. “Frida and Avril,” he muttered to himself. He memorized their names, then turned and left without another word.
The two looked at each other, then at Camilla. “Ms. Hogan, does this mean Mr. Evans accepts our apology?”
Camilla was just as clueless. How would I know?‘ she wondered.
Joyce woke up from her nap and was playing with building blocks with her caregiver.
Rosie and Sienna were talking outside. Rosie had already heard about the trending topic.
Sienna realized how bad the impact of the trending topic was when even someone who barely pays attention to the entertainment industry, like Rosie, was aware of things.
“No news from Josiah yet?” asked Rosie.
Sienna shook her head, frowning.
While the trending topic had been taken down, the impact from it had not died down yet.
On the contrary, because the trending topic was suppressed, the discussion heated up. Her upcoming drama was taking the brunt of it. The official website was flooded with negative comments.
[Why are we not blacklisting scandalous artists?]
[No wonder a newbie like her got a role in Mr. Carter’s drama. I guess selling yourself is a kind of investment…]
[Let’s boycott this artist’s drama and ensure it doesn’t broadcast. Even if it gets broadcast, we should boycott it and let it flop!]
However, there were netizens who defended Sienna.
[Not commenting without knowing the full story.]
[Then she should come out and clarify. What is her relationship with that man?]
[A middle–aged man with a beer belly. Is that her father or an elder? What kind of decent person would go to Maze with their father?]
}
[Maze is a breeding ground for mistresses, doesn’t everyone in Jeiacrity know that?]
[Who is Sienna?]
[A D–list actress, the one who previously announced her relationship with Mr. Evans. He was known as Mr. Flynn back then.]
[Oh my God! Does Mr. Evans know of her true colors?]
[I heard they already broke up. Mr. Evans must have dumped her after finding out.]
“What a bunch of nosy people. They need to get a life!” snapped Rosie, becoming angrier as she read.
Sienna let out a self–deprecating chuckle. “But what they’re saying is true…” She approached Ryan intending to become his mistress and almost
succeeded.
When Josiah came in, he nodded at Rosie before sitting down opposite them.
Sienna held her breath and gazed intently at him.
“Mr. Flynn, why don’t you chat with Sienna first? I’ll get you a glass of water,” said Rosie before moving toward the kitchen.
“Thank you.” Josiah nodded.

Chapter 441
“You’re welcome, chimed Rosie.
Once Rosie had left, Josiah gazed at Sienna and stated, “The trending topic has been suppressed, and we have found the culprit
Sienna’s back stiffened as her grip tightened. “You found him? Who is it?” asked Sienna, shocked at josial’s speed.
Josiah mentioned a name and probed, “Do you know him? He worked at Maze as security. He was working there at the same time as you?
“I don’t know him” Sienna shook her head. She didn’t know all of Maze’s employees while working there. “Why would he want to hurt me?” she questioned
“It’s not clear yet” Josiah shook his head. “He ran off. He’s not in Jeiacrity, and his phone is unreachable Josiah sneered. “He can run, but he can’t hide forever.”
Unless he never uses his phone, credit cards, or his ID. But in today’s world, that’s basically impossible, thought Josiah
“Ethan will keep an eye on this…” added Josiah.
There were more pressing matters at hand so Josiah changed the subject, hesitating slightly before saying. “The gurrent situation…”
As soon as he spoke, Sienna guessed what he meant. She gave a pained smile. “It’s bad.”
Although she hadn’t personally experienced it, she had seen it happen to others. In recent years, so many celebrities and artists have been ruined by trending topics.
Any hint of a scandal, once prosecuted by public opinion, made it almost impossible for the situation to turn around. Sienna’s hands clenched in her lap, her knuckles turning white.
“Yes, it is.” Josiah nodded, unable to deny the gravity of the situation. But he hadn’t come unprepared. “I have a plan…” he began carefully., “If you agree to it, I’m confident we can turn this around.”
Sienna was slightly startled that Josiah had a solution. “What’s the solution?” she asked.
Josiah gulped nervously. He stared intently at Sienna as he spoke slowly and clearly, “Deny it completely. Insist it’s photoshopped.”
Sienna was even more surprised. “Photoshopped? Would that work? Can’t they tell if it’s photoshopped?” she asked.
“The photo is blurry. Most people won’t be able to tell. I’ll arrange for people to post about it and control public opinion. It won’t be a problem,” reassured Josiah.
“That simple?” Sienna frowned, finding it hard to believe.
“Of course, it’s not that simple,” said Josiah as he leaned forward, his hands clasped before him. His expression was a mix of tension and unease as he continued, “We might need to create some buzz around our relationship…
Sienna asked in shock, “What are you talking about? Don’t joke about this…”
“I’m not joking,” stated Josiah. This was the simplest, most direct, and most effective solution Josiah could come up with after careful consideration.
“I was pursuing you at that time, and I was frequenting Maze because of you. All of this can be proven. Plus, we have officially announced our relationship before this,” he added.
“My status can suppress this gossip. No one would buy the story that you would go for a guy like Ryan if they knew we were in a relationship, persisted Josiah.
In terms of appearance, Josiah was young and handsome, not at all in the same league as the middle–aged, overweight figure of Ryan in the photo.
In terms of wealth, Josiah was more than capable of taking care of his girlfriend. “Sienna…” mumbled Josiah.
Rosie came out of the kitchen, put the water glass in front of Josiah and said, “Please, have some water, Mr. Flynn.”
Josiah took it and nodded. “Thank you.” Then he looked back at Sienna. “The sooner we take action, the more we can sway public opinion your way.”
“Mr. Flynn, can you give me and Sienna a minute?” intervened Rosic.
“Okay,” agreed Josiah. He hesitated for two seconds before walking to the side with his glass of water.
“Sienna,” called out Rosie as she sat down beside Sienna and took her hand. She had heard their conversation just now. “Mr. Flynn is right. Only his status and influence can suppress public opinion. Delaying this won’t end well,” advised Rosie.
This has happened before. After a famous male artist was falsely accused, even though he was later proven innocent, he was already socially dead.
His career was ruined. People never cared about the truth.
It wasn’t that Sienna didn’t understand, it was just that the scene of Josiah kissing her on the couch kept flashing through her mind.
