Chapter 196
Back at the Sunshine Neighborhood, Joyce was already asleep. However, Tara was still awake, sitting on the couch, folding clothes from the dryer.
Seeing Sienna, she whispered. “You’re back! Joyce is asleep. Once I’m done here. I’ll stay with her”
“Thank you, Tara You’ve worked hard” This wasn’t just politeness, it was heartfelt
Joyce was not an ordinary child, extra care was needed at night. Even though Tara was paid, without being kind–hearted, it wouldn’t be possible for her to be so attentive.
“You’re too kind.” Tara waved her hand with a smile. I have a daughter too. Honestly, it’s tough for you.”
Being single moms themselves, Tara understood Sienna very well. “It’s late. You should wash up and get some rest”
“Okay” Sienna got up and walked towards the bathroom “Tara, I’ll take care of Joyce tonight. You can rest.”
“Oh, that’s great” Tara nodded with a smile. “That’s very nice of you”
Half an hour later, Sienna went into Joyce’s room. Joyce was sprawled out on the bed like a tiny frog, her head tilted to one side, with her chubby mouth slightly open. huppily snoring.
Jover.” Sienna chuckled sofily and gently touched her daughter’s forehead. Joyce was quite warm, even under a thin blanket in a heated room, with a slight layer of sweat.
Sienna laid down on the small bed next to Joyce but couldn’t fall asleep yet. It was undeniable that ever since they returned to Jetacrity, their lives had been getting better. And now, she was pregnant again.
Joyce Sienna reached out and gently pinched Joyce’s chubby little fist. “Joyce is the bravest and strongest baby in the world. Just wait a little longer. Joyce can go to school and make friends like the other kids” Closing her eyes, Sienna felt a slight dampness.
The next morning, an enticing aroma walted from the kitchen.
Sienna came out of the room holding Joyce, put Joyce on the couch, and gave her a bottle. “Be a good girl, Joyce, and have some water first Having water first thing in the morning was a habit she had encouraged in Joyce.
“Okay” Joyce obediently hugged the bottle, her big eyes moving around like grapes. “Mommy, it smells so good!”
“Joyce, you have a good sense of smell. Sienna tapped Joyce’s cute lule nose. “Cheesy sweet potatoes are baking in the oven. Do you want
“Wow!” Joyce nodded quickly. “I love them! I want some! Did you make them, Mommy?”
“Yes, I did,” Sienna replied.
some?”
“Wow” Joyce’s eyes shone with excitement. “Mommy is so busy but still makes sweet potatoes for me. Thank you, Mommy!” Joyce snuggled into Sienna’s arms and kissed her on the check. “Thanks, Mommy“
“You’re welcome,” Sienna said, but she felt a bit bitter inside. She had been so busy with work recently that she hadn’t spent much time with Joyce But that was about to change. She wouldn’t need to deal with irrelevant people anymore.
Torlay was Sienna’s day off. So she could spend time with Joyce. “Joyce, let’s go get something tasty to eat! Sienna picked up Joyce and walked towards the dining room. Tara had already taken the sweet potatoes out and placed them on the table.
In the baking dish, the golden sweet potatoes and cheese were perfectly mixed. Sienna lud even drizzled a layer of chocolate on top before baking- which turned into caramel it looked lovely.
on “Go ahead and eat it.
Sienna cut a piece and placed it on Joyce’s special plate, handing her the small spoon. “Thanks, Mominy,” Joyce held the spoon properly and scooped up a bite. But she didn’t eat it immediately. Instead, she blew on it, saying, “Hot
“Yes.” Sienna nodded with a smile. “Hot Great job, Joyce. You knew to blow on it by yourself without me reminding you”
“Uh–huh” Joyce nodded her little head, happily eating the cheesy sweet potatoes. “Yummy, Mommy’s cooking is so delicious!“ “Eat slowly, okay?” Sienna stood up. “I will make some milk for you.”

Chapter 196
After making the milk and handing the bottle to Joyce, her phone rang. It was Josiah,
Sienna immediately frowned and thought, Why is he calling? Is there something I haven’t explained clearly!
Sienna hung up, not answering. But right after, a message popped up: [I’m downstairs. Are you coming down, or should come up?
Sienna tensed up in shock and quickly rushed to the window. She peeked through the curtain and saw Josiah’s flashy Bentley parked there. impossible to miss.
Not knowing if Josiah was looking up at Sienna, her phone buzzed again. This time, it was another call. Having no other option. Sienna answered it.
At the downstairs, Josiah was sitting in his car, looking up at the window. “You share the place with someone and have a child. It’s not convenient for me to come. In case I’m in a hurry, I don’t care about anything. Do you agree?”
Josiah paused, and his tone became more intense. “Sienna, are you e
coming down?”
Sienna thought, With what he said, what choice did I have? She bit back her breath and said, “You, just wait”
“Okay, I’ll wait,” Josiah replied
Five minutes later, Sienna went downstairs.
“Sienna” As she stepped out from the doorway, Josiah got out of his car, walked around to the passenger side, and said, “Get in
Sienna reluctantly frowned, but it wasn’t safe here. Sienna thought, ‘What if Tara came down with Joyce?‘ Despite her reluctance, she had no choice but to get in the car with him.
As the car left the residence, Sienna looked at Josiah and said, “What do you want to do? Go ahead and say it.”
Josiah held the steering wheel, a slight smile on his lips. I’m taking you somewhere. You’re off today, aren’t you?
Sienna didn’t quite understand his meaning. “What do you mean? Where are you taking me? What does my break have to do with you? Have you forgotten we already broke up? Just last night”
Josiah didn’t respond, acting as if he hadn’t heard her.
Sienna was getting anxious. “Where exactly are you taking me?” She didn’t want to go on a date with him again.
“What’s the hurry?” Josiah gave her a glance and said calmly. “You’ll know when we get there.”
This road Sienna vaguely remembered was the way to Westway Road. That road was mostly high–end boutiques. Sienna thought, “Why is he taking
me there?
When they arrived at Westway Road, the car stopped. Josiah led Sienna into FOUR hours, a place she was familiar with. The Flynn family’s clothes were handled by this shop.
As soon as they reached the entrance, the store manager came out with the staff to greet them. “Mr. Flynn, you’ve arrived.”
The manager smiled at Sienna, “Hello, Ms. Shaw,”
Sienna raised an eyebrow and thought, “They recognized me too?”
The manager said, “Please, both of you, come in.
“Hmm” Josiah nodded slightly and led Sienna into the si
shop.
The store manager knew Sienna was the main focus today. Mr. Reed had called earlier, mentioning that Sienna was dissatisfied with the women’s
