Chapter 243
“Sienna,” Josiah interrupted her with a frown. His lips pressed into a thin line, his tight outline showing his displeasure at the moment.
“Not happy!” Sienna’s eyebrows raised slightly. “Isn’t what I said the truth? You were injured because of your sweetheart, so naturally, she should be the one who worries about you.”
“Enough. Stop talking about sweethearts,” Josiah suppressed his displeasure and stared at her coldly. “How many times have I told you about Yvette and me! There is nothing between us at all. Last night, I was only because of Howard…
“Really?” Sienna smiled, her eyes flashing sharply. “Is it possible that you are in love without knowing it?
Josiah hesitated. “Sienna..
The ward door was knocked on. It was the nurse who pushed the treatment cart in. “Mr. Flynn, it’s time for your afternoon infusion.”
Josiah stared at Sienna with a sullen face and said nothing-
Sienna stepped back to make it easier for the nurse to operate. “Thank you for your hard work.”
“You’re welcome. Ms. Shaw the nurse smiled and bent down to give Josiah the IV.
“It’s done. If you need anything, you can call us at the nurse’s station or press the call bell,” said the nurse.
Sienna nodded. “Okay, thank you”
“You’re welcome.” The nurse pushed the cart out, and the ward quieted down.
After the interruption, there was a subtle silence. Sienna didn’t intend to continue the previous topic. She pulled up a chair, sat down, glanced at the TV bottle, and muttered. This bottle will take at least half an hour.
With that, she opened her mouth and yawned widely. Her physical response to that made her tears flow down uncontrollably, and Sienna raised her hand to wipe them away.
Josiah saw it and the slight displeasure he felt earlier subsided. “Are you sleepy?”
“Yes,” Sienna nodded and yawned again. I’m sleepy. How can I not be sleepy? I only slept for three hours last night. And I went to the dance troupe early this morning” As soon as she sat down, she felt sleepy,
Josiah glanced at his hospital bed. It was big enough to fit another Sienna. “Sienna, come here…
As soon as he spoke, the door was pushed open again. This time it was Zach. “What’s the matter?” Josiah had an unhappy look on his face. He didn’t expect Zach would come at this time.
Zach froze for a moment, a chill running down his spine. “Why do I feel like Mr. Flynn is giving me the death stare?‘ he thought.
Zach said quickly, forcing himself to speak, “Mr. Flynn, I was just wondering if Sienna wanted to go back and get you some
Zach was truly thoughtful. Josiah would have to stay in the hospital for a few days. Although it was convenient to buy anything he needed, it was always more comfortable to use his own stuff, such as underwear and a razor
Even Sienna hadn’t thought of this. In the past, Zach would have taken care of it himself. But now that Sienna was the mistress of Silver Beach, it was naturally up to her to make the arrangements.
“You’re right. That’s very thoughtful of you” Sienna nodded. “I’ll go back then, I know where everything is,”
“Yes,” Zach nodded.
Sienna stood up and said to Zach, T leave this to you then. I’ll go back and pack”
Zaid is downstairs,” Zach said. “He’ll drive
you
back”
“Okay, thanks” Sienna modded.
“Sienna, Josiah called out to her as she turned to leave.
Sienna looked back, and he stared at her. “You will be back, right?”

Chapter 243
Sienna was stummed for a moment and laughed. “Of course, I’m going to get you something. I have to bring it back to you.”
“Okay Josiah smiled at her. “Be careful on the road and come back soon,”
“Okay.” Sienta waved and turned to leave the ward
The moment the door closed, Josiah’s heart skipped a beat. For no reason, he felt a panic, an inexplicable worry. He was afraid that she would leave and never come back.
Sienna came out of the ward building and followed Zaid into the car. The car drove towards the hospital entrance. When passing through the grove, she saw Howard and Yvette through the window.
They seemed to be talking about something. The car drove away quickly, and they were out of sight.
In the grove. Yvette turned her back to Howard with red
eyes
“Vette” Howard said, one hand on his cane and the other holding a handkerchief, wanting to wipe her tears.
“Don’t cry. It’s all my fault. If you’re unhappy, just come at me,” said Howard.
“Come at you?” Yvette suddenly looked up, glaring at him resentfully. “Fine, I’ll ask directly then. The child is three years old. Where is his mother? You keep him with Hervey. Where is that woman?”
There’s no other woman, Howard said, frowning. The image of a beautiful face flashed through his mind. He hardened his heart and said with certainty. There’s no other woman.”
“What?” Yvette was stunned and then scoffed. “Do you think I’m a fool! No other woman? Did you give birth to the child yourself?”
“That’s not what I meant Howard shook his head. “What I mean is, I only acknowledge the child. As for his mother, I don’t know who she is, and I don’t intend to have anything to do with her.
Yvette froze, staring intently into his eyes. She parted her lips uncertainly. “Are you serious?”
“Yes” Howard gazed at her with his dark eyes, reaching out with the hand holding the handkerchief to gently wipe away her tears.
“The child was an accident. His n mother is just a stranger to me. Why would I abandon you for her?” said Howard.
Yvette heard every word, clear and distinct. Her eyes welled up, and tears streamed down her face once more.
“What’s wrong?” Howard asked, startled. “Why are you crying again!”
“Howard.” Yvette sobbed, throwing her arms around him and clinging tightly to his waist. “You said it yourself. You promised. Don’t lie Please, don’t lie to me again”

Howard lowered his head, gazed at Yvette in his arms, and let out a nearly inaudible sigh. He lifted his arm and gently pulled her into his embrace “Yes, I said it myself. I won’t lie to you.”
Yvette couldn’t restrain herself, crying uncontrollably. “Howard, I can’t live without you. You are the only one I have. I can’t live without you.” Howard lowered his eyes and replied softly, “I know. I know it
Back at Silver Beach, Sienna found a suitcase, packed a few sets of Josiah’s clothes, and threw in all the stuff he usually used. That was pretty much
She carried the suitcase, went downstairs, and handed it to Zaid, who was waiting. “Zaid, thank you.”
