Chapter 320
“Sienna, you dare to run!” Behind her, Yvette didn’t think twice and immediately chased after her.
Sienna was fast, but Yvette was relentless. They ended up facing off in the elevator lobby
“Don’t run!” Yvette grabbed Sienna’s arm fiercely, her eyes filled with a mix of anger and ice–cold fury.
She continued, “you think you can just escape after what you’ve done to Josiah?”
“I’m the reason he’s hurt?” Sienna scoffed, curling her lips in a cold smile. She looked composed and focused. “You were on the plane with him, you know exactly how he got hun. His injury has nothing to do with me.”
“Ha Yvette laughed sarcastically. “Sure, his injury may not be directly your fault; but now look at him. You can’t even deny that it’s related to you. He delayed his treatment just to see you! Do you really think you’re innocent in this?”
What kind of twisted logic was that! Sienna shook her head, laughing dryly. “That’s his issue, not mine. I had no idea he was hurt! He didn’t bother to mention it.”
“The fact that he’s lying there now is his choice! It’s not my problem, so don’t lay any blame on me. I won’t take the fall for this?”
“You… Yvette gritted her teeth, infuriated, “What a clever tongue you have! I’m not here to argue with you.”
Yvette forcibly pulled Sienna along. “Let’s go back. You’re his girlfriend! You’re not just going to abandon him when he’s in crisis.”
“Let go!” Sienna frowned, struggling to break free. “Girlfriend“”
Sienna forced a smile. “You don’t even know? Josiah and I already broke up. We have nothing to do with each other anymore! I’m not his girlfriend.”
What? In an instant, Yvette’s eyes widened in shock. She thought, “When did this happen?
Had they broken up while I was in Lacustria?”
In that brief moment of surprise, the elevator doors slowly opened. Without sparing another glance at Yvette, Sienna stepped inside.
The doors closed slowly behind her, leaving Yvette standing frozen in place, unable to make another move.
As soon as they stepped into Sunshine Neighborhood, the sound of Joyce’s crying filled the air.
“Waaaah
Tara held Joyce in her arms, trying to calm her down. “Don’t cry, don’t cry.”
She gently stroked Joyce’s forehead while murmuring. “You’re not having a fever, Joyce. Tell Tara, what’s bothering you?”
Rosie, who had been nearby, chimed in, “Mommy’s back!”
“Oh dear,” Tara turned around and caught sight of Joyce. “Joyce, mommy’s home! Go over to Mommy!”
“Mommy!” Joyce’s eyes were filled with tears as she stretched out her short arms.
“Let me hold you,” Sienna said, her heart aching for her daughter. She embraced Joyce and kissed her forehead. “Why are you crying. sweetheart! Does your tummy hurt?”
“No”
“Hmm…” Joyce felt her tummy, shaking her head through her tears. “No”
Then she snuggled deeper into her mom’s arms. “Joyce missed Mommy…
“Really?” Sienna smiled gently. “Mommy missed you, too.
“Mommy,” Joyce looked up, her eyes wide and glistening. “Josiah didn’t come. Josiah lied! Josiah’s a bad guy!”
At those words, Sienna’s heart sank. “No, that’s not true.”

Sienna sat down on the couch with Joyce, speaking softly to soothe her. Josiah came last night, but you were sleeping so well that he didn’t want to
wake you.”
“Yes,” Rosie supported her. 1 can vouch for it”
“Is that so!” Joyce pouted. “It’s all Joyce’s faul for being asleep”
Not wanting to see her daughter’s disappointment, Sienna picked up her phone and opened the video they recorded last night. “Joyce, look! Josiah held you last night and even set off some fireworks for you”
Wow…
Watching the video, Joyce’s face lit up, and she quickly stopped crying. “Hahaha! That’s true! Joyce my name!”
“Yep,” Sienna said, running her fingers through her daughter’s hair. “Josiah prepared that just for you.”
“Mm–hm,” Joyce giggled, her eyes radiant with joy now, shyly burrowing closer into her mom’s embrace. “Josiah likes Joyce.”
“He really does. Sienna replied, her voice slightly trembling with emotion.

In the hospital, Josiah’s condition was stable, but there were no signs of him waking up.
“Yvette,” Howard glanced at Ms. Young, his voice low. “You just got to Jeiacrity last night, you must be exhausted. You should go home and rest.
“No” Yvette shook her head, refusing to leave. “I’ll stay with you and Josiah, We’ve faced everything together since we were kids.”
“Listen to me,” Howard said with a furrowed brow, his voice serious, “Grandma doesn’t know about this yet. You should head home for now, just to keep her from getting suspicious. Go and cheer her up.”
The old lady wasn’t in great health, and they hadn’t told her anything yet. Maybe Josiah would wake up soon, and they could explain everything
then
“Besides Howard glanced at his brother lying in the hospital bed. “Josiah doesn’t even know when he’ll wake up. We can’t just sit here and wait.
let’s take turns.”
Yvette nodded, realizing he had a point. “Alright. I’ll head back then”
“Okay.”
As Yvette stood up to leave, she paused and looked at him. “Howard, I didn’t get a chance to ask you earlier. How have you been doing these past few days?”
Howard froze for a moment, caught off guard by the question.
And the image of Rosie flashed through his mind…..
He replied gently, I’m doing alright. What about you?”
“Good to hear,” Yvette smiled, her expression not reaching her eyes. “I’m doing well too… Even though we broke up, Howard… we’re still family, right?
“Of course,” Howard didn’t hesitate to affirm, his dark eyes meeting hers
“From the moment I brought you into the Flynn family, you’re a part of us for life.”
Yvette beamed, her smile warm. Til head home for now.”
“Alright.”
Once Yvette stepped out of the hospital room and shut the door behind her, her smile vanished instantly.
Family! But she didn’t just want to be considered an honorary member; she wanted to be a true Flynn.
Later that evening, after a good rest, Yvette returned to the hospital. The room was quiet, and Howard was sle
sleeping on the couch.

Chapter 320
Yvette went to check on Josiah first. His vitals were stable, and his color looked much better than last night. He seemed to be in a peaceful slumber.
Her heart raced with worry.
Back then, Howard was like this. What if he just slept on forever?
Looking at Josiah, she whispered softly, “Josiah, the doctor said you can hear us, right?”
She continued, “You must be so tired from all the trips back and forth to Jeiacrity. It’s okay to sleep a little longer, but only for a bit, right?”
“Please wake

soon. Both Howard and I are waiting for you. You suffered so much back then and managed to pull through, so you can do it this
As she moved over to the couch, she noticed a blanket that had fallen on the floor. She picked it up and draped it over Howard’s sleeping figure.
Then, her eyes landed on a small box on the coffee table.
Curious, Yvette picked it up. It looked like a pencil case.
Opening it revealed a single pencil. It was an automatic pencil.
