But in front of Yvette, she had never had any advantage. Every time they competed for Josiah’s attention, he had never chosen her. Not once.
She was scared. Her eyes misted slightly, and Sienna’s lashes trembled as she looked at the person in front of her. Trying to keep calm, her shaky voice revealed the fear and unease flooding her heart. “What do you want to do with me?”
The person looked away. “Since you have no value, keeping you means nothing to us.”
Sienna didn’t understand. Then, she saw the person come closer, holding a knife and moving behind her. Suddenly, the ropes tying her hands were

“Open the door! Open it Sienna pounded on the door. No matter how loudly she shouted, there was no answer. “Is anyone there? Open the door! Please let me out!”
Sienna looked around for another way out, but the cargo dock had no windows. Suddenly, she sniffed something strange. “What is that smell?”
Sienna wrinkled her nose, inhaling deeply, when a chilling fear washed over her. “No She recognized that smell all too well. That terrible year in the slums of Fliraty, she had experienced a disastrous fire.

At Emerald Ridge, located west of the city, Yvette was tied to a chair, just like Sienna. A guy entered and untied her ropes. “What do you want?” she asked.

“Come back!”
They quickly realized she had jumped out of the window and chased after her.
Yvette screamed, not daring to look back, running blindly forward. But she only had two legs, while they had cars. Yvette burst out of the hotel and into the main road, desperate to flag down a car.
Seeing a car coming, she dashed forward, “Stop! Stop!” But the car was moving too fast, and the driver, surprised to see a woman in the middle of the road, couldn’t brake in time! The car swerved, striking her side.
“Ah… Yvette let out a chilling scream, her voice piercing through the night as her body got grazed. The pursuers soon arrived, blocking the road. Ahead, a sleek black Bentley screeched to a halt, and Josiah stepped out.
With Josiah present, Andy’s men felt nervous. “Mr. Evans!”
Josiah quickly understood the situation, his eyes narrowing as he surveyed them. “Where is she?”
“She… she…” The leader of the group pointed to the roadside. “Mr. Evans, it’s not our fault. She chose to run…”
Josiah’s eyes went wide with rage. ‘Sienna was hit…” He sprinted toward the roadside, heading toward that fragile figure.
“Sienna” Josiah gasped, his heart racing as he gathered her into his arms. But that wasn’t Sienna. Lifting his hand to part the hair from her face revealed a pale expression. It was Yvette
Yvette? What’s going on? Why is Yvette here, and where is Sienna? Josiah glanced at Yvette in his arms, and a chilling thought hit him. Josiah quickly took out his phone, dialing Zach. Zach!”
“Mr. Flynn!” Zach answered urgently on the other end.
Josiah had a very bad premonition. “Have you found Sienna? Is she okay?”
“Not yet.” The dock was farther away, and Zach hadn’t arrived yet. Suddenly, Zach realized, “Mr. Flynn, you mean Sienna! Ion’t Yvette at the dock
