Chapter 364
Joyce snuggled closer to Josiah and said in a trembling voice, “Stay with me, Mr. Flynn. Don’t go.”
“Alright, I’ll stay,” Josiah replied softly, reassuring Joyce as he gently patted her on the back. Joyce stayed calm even as the nurse administered the IV.
The combination of discomfort and crying drained Joyce’s energy, and as the IV drip started, her eyelids grew heavy. She gradually relaxed and drified into a drowsy state. Sienna, standing nearby, watched in silence, and the anxiety that had been grawing at her slowly faded.
Josiah looked up, finally having a moment to ask about Joyce’s condition. “What happened”
““Virus” Sienna answered, crossing her arms. Her gaze was distant, her thoughts momentarily lost. “Joyer’s immune system is weaker than most kids If this isn’t treated properly, there’s no way to predict or control what happens next”
At her words, Josiah’s expression darkened. His eyes flickered with a brief flash of tension, and after a long silence, he muttered softly, more to himself than anyone che, “Shell be okay. She will*
Just as he finished speaking his phone buzzed from his pocket. The vibration wasn’t loud, but since Sienna was standing so close, she caught sight of it. A frown immediately formed on her face–she could tell it was from Yvette.
Josiah glanced at her and shifted Joyce in his arms. With a sigh, he pulled out his phone.

Sienna frowned, turning her face slightly away, clearly irritated.
“Sienna. “Josiah held his phone, hesitating for a few seconds before finally answering just as the ringing was about to end. “Hello!” He purposely lowered his voice, trying not to disturb Joyce who was still sleeping.
The nurse said. “Mr. Flynn! Ms. Young is losing it–she’s trying to jump off the building!”
Jonah’s heart skipped a beat, and his eyes widened. “Til be right there?” he said quickly before hanging up.
He looked at Sienna with a face full of urgency. “Sienna, I need to go Joyce is asleep, and I’ll be right back.”

Sienna scoffed after hearing the nurse’s explanation. “Looks like she really wants to die.”
“Sienna…” Josiah suddenly turned to look at her, his breath quickening.
“What?” Sienna raised an eyebrow and replied indifferently, “Go check on her. She’s about to die any way”
On the windowsill, Yvette heard the noise and turned her head. The moment her eyes landed on Josiah, tears instantly streamed down her face, “What are you doing here‘ Didn’t you abandon me?”
“Yvette.” Josish tensed, stepping forward cautiously, trying to approach her. “You misunderstood. I didn’t abandon you… Please, just come down and we can talk. Okay?”
“No!” Yvette shouted, her voice high–pitched and frantic as she backed away. “Don’t come any closer! You’re lying to me! You’ve always been lying to

“Then just die“” Along with a clear and beautiful female voice, Sienna strode forward and rushed to Yvette’s face,
Yvette was stunned, looking dazed as if she hadn’t heard clearly. “What did you sa

“Let go of me!” Sienna didn’t even glance at him, shaking off his arm with all her might and staring straight at Yvene. A mix of emotions was churning in her eyes and heart
Her words grew even harsher. “You’re right, he doesn’t want you! He just left you behind to come find me! Are you heartbroken? Then hurry up and do it” She pointed towards the window, “Do it! The world will be a better place without you!”
“You…” Yvette was speechless, her body trembling uncontrollably.

She looked up at Josiah with a tearful, almost haunting smile. “Josiah, I’m leaving…”
“Don’t!” Josiah yelled.
Yvette swayed and, without warning, threw herself out of the window.
Josiah screamed, “Yvelle!”
Sienna felt a rush of wind as it passed her by. By the time her senses returned, Josiah had already lunged toward the windowsill, his body half out

Sienna, with her arms crossed, watched coldly and murmured under her breath, “What a pair of love–stricken fools. She gave one last glance, turned, and walked away.
