Standing near the stairs, Sienna put away her phone and beheld Reyna. “What’s the matter?”
“Listen up.” Reyna held her chin high, her tone arrogant.
*First, give me the car keys. That’s my car, so I’m taking it. Second, you’ve turned my family into total chaos. I’m warning you, stay away from Conner. He’s my brother, and he’s not related to you,” was her speech,
Sienna was stunned as she listened to Reyna’s words. In her eyes, Tania was a bad person, but she did not expect Reyna to take after the mother, only half–witted.
While shaking her head, Sienna chuckled softly. “Let’s just wait for Conner.”
She had not the slightest intention of arguing with Reyna. Rather, she simply wanted to wait for Conner to come and deal with Reyna.
“Why wait for him?” Reyna was stunned, her eyes wide. “You disagree with my terms? How dare you! On what grounds do you have any say in this?”
Then on what grounds should I agree?” Sienna asked with a hint of ridicule. “Reyna, at least your mom knows how to fake it a little when she steals. But you? Just highway robbery.”
What does my mom have anything to do with this?” Reyna flared up. “What did she steal from you? You’re nothing but nonsense!”
“Didn’t you know?” Sienna arched a brow, her eyes sharp but her tone calm. “Your mom stole her husband. The same goes for your family’s chain supermarkets.
To say that her voice was low and firm would be an understatement.
Sienna then added. “Forget that Conner only got me a car, even if he gave me the entire fortune of the Fischer family, I’d gladly accept it.”
“Why, you!” Reyna was dumbfounded, pointing at Sienna in rage.
After a fleeting moment, she fumed, “Oh, so not even a car could satisfy your greed, huh? You even had your eye on our family’s fortune! Sienna, you really are a bitch!”
A pucker marred Sienna’s mien. She was surprised that compared to Tania, Reyna was truly a chip off the old block.
If anything, Sienna reckoned that there would be no reasoning whatsoever with somebody like Reyna.
Sienna could not care less about dealing with Reyna further. Glancing at the phone, she saw an incoming call from Conner, hence answering it, “Hello, Conner
“Sienna Conner could be heard anxious on the other end. “I’ll be there in ten minutes. Are you okay? Reyna didn’t make things difficult for you, did she?”
On that note, Sienna glanced at Reyna. “No.”

Then came Conner’s suggestion. “Sienna, put the phone on speaker.”
“Sure. Sienna turned on the speakerphone at Conner’s behest.
Conner’s voice came through. “Reyna, why must you bother Sienna? I’ll be there in a minute. Don’t cause her any trouble, or I’ll cut off your allowance.
Following that, he instructed through gritted teeth, “Get to the main entrance of Sunshine Neighborhood right now, and that’s final!”
“Conner–” Reyna tried to refute Conner’s argument.
Alas, Sienna held up the phone and reminded Reyna, “He hung up.”
Reyna’s face flushed red with anger, and she turned on Sienna. “Don’t get cocky.”
“You’d better hurry Sienna shrugged and headed out. “Conner wants you to wait at the main entrance. Late, and you’re gonna goodbye!

“Sienna! Ah-” One moment Reyna was gritting her teeth, the next she screamed.
What happened? Sienna inused, her heart skipping a beat. She wheeled around, only to widen her eyes in astonishment.
Reyna, who had been standing perfectly fine on the stairs just a couple of steps away from Sienna, had somehow tumbled down.

“Reyna? Sienna’s first instinct was to reach out and grab Reyna
She stretched out her hand, fingertips only brushing against Reyna’s arm, but she could not get a grip. Just like that, Reyna rolled down the steps.
“Hal” Reyna screamed.
“Keys” Sienna rushed after Reyna as the latter landed on the platform at the bottom of the stairs, finally coming to a halt. The pain was so intense that Reyna saw stars and could not speak
Sienna helped Keyna up. “Are you okay, Reyna? Did you hit your head?”
“Ouch… It hurts… Reyna’s eyelids fluttered, and she fainted.
“Reyna” Sienna’s phone rang at that time. She answered immediately, “Bad news, Conner! Reyna fell down the stairs!”
“What? How could this happen?” asked Conner.
Likewise, Sienna had not the faintest idea. To think that Reyna had fallen in the blink of an eye, Sienna could only wonder if Reyna had lost her footing or missed a step.
“Calm down, Sienna, I’m already at the front gate. I’ll be right up, reassured Conner.
JRight” uttered Sienna.
Conner hurried over and, alongside Sienna, took Reyna to the hospital.
Later, Reyna was diagnosed with a mild concussion, a left tibial fracture, and a rib fracture–her injuries were not minor. Conner informed their parents.

“Mom Conner stepped forward to support Tania. “Reyna is not out yet, she’s still being treated. Don’t worry too much. The doctor said that her injuries are not serious…

“Oh my god” Tania began crying once more. “My poor Reyna, how did she get hurt?”
Suddenly, her line of sight stopped as she caught sight of Sienna. “What are you doing here?”
Larry also noticed Sienna and asked the same question, “What are you here for, Sienna?”
That stumped Sienna for a moment. She was right about to speak when the emergency room door opened, and Reyna was pushed out.
“Reyna! Tania and her family rushed over to ask about Reyna’s condition.
The doctor comforted them. “The patient’s been treated and will be transferred to the ward now. Please complete the necessary paperwork for her.”
“Thank you, doctor said Tania.
After a flurry of activity, Reyna was taken to the ward and settled in.
Conner soon came out of the ward and saw that Sienna was still there, thus approaching her then and there. “Sienna, everything’s fine now. She’s all curled in. You should head back:
He knew that the only reason Sienna had yet to leave was to make sure Reyna was okay.
“Okay‘ Senna breathed a sigh of relief upon hearing Conner’s words. “I’ll get going, then.”
‘T‘ give you a lift, suggested Conner
‘No.’s okay! Sienna responded.
Conner insisted, “You didn’t drive here. Let me at least get you a ride, just to see you off.”
Came Sienna’s refusal “Really, there’s no need for that…”
