Chapter 6
Everyone seemed to avoid me, clearly afraid I’d cause trouble. But Andrew was the only one who immediately picked me up and carried me to the infirmary, then rushed off to buy me some chocolate from the supermarket.
At that moment, I felt my heart stir. I realized I was falling for Andrew, and my feelings for him became more intense from that point on. In our third year, Andrew finally agreed to date me, and I was over the moon.
Even when Andrew introduced Kate as the neighbor girl, I didn’t question it. I treated Kate like a little sister, always buying her things and looking out for her.
It wasn’t until they betrayed me that I learned the truth–that they were in a secret relationship.
Luckily, I never revealed my true identity to Andrew during our time together. I only told him that my parents had passed away when I was young and that my brother, Martin, had raised me.
What I didn’t tell him was that Martin was the CEO of the Knight Group, the wealthiest man in the capital.
When Andrew decided to start his own company, I stood by him. But a lot of the success came from the resources and connections I had behind the scenes.

Andrew thought his success was all due to his own abilities, but while he is certainly talented, no small company would grow this much without support from others.
I gave everything for Andrew in my past life, only to be betrayed by him. Now, it was my turn to take back everything that belonged to
- me.
The Knight Group’s blacklist meant no one was willing to work with Andrew anymore. His company was on the verge of collapsing, and it was all his fault.
I worked on the Knight Group project for half a month, and then Martin assigned me to other projects. He said it was to help me understand the company better since I had shares in it.
The next month was a whirlwind. I was so busy. I barely had time to
eat.
Finally, after finishing everything, Martin decided to take me out to eat. Afterward, he insisted on shopping with me. As we walked around, I noticed something odd–Martin was buying duplicate items.
When I asked him about it, he admitted that he had started dating someone and wasn’t sure what to get her, so he took me shopping to figure it out.
I was so excited that I dragged Martin to a jewelry store and picked out two beautiful sets of jewelry and some cosmetics. Martin bought two of everything, giving one set to me as well.

Afterward, Martin took me back to my apartment. Since I’d been working nonstop for a month, Martin gave me three days off to
rest.
I slept in, had some food, and then went to a nearby mall to pick up a few things. As I was about to try on a piece of clothing in a store, I suddenly heard a voice behind me. “Olivia, is that really you? What are you doing here?”
I turned around and saw Kate and Andrew holding hands. I was about to leave, but Kate grabbed my arm. “Olivia, you’re an orphan. Life’s not easy for you. You always wear simple, unbranded clothes. How come you’re shopping in a store like this now? The clothes here cost more than your entire six–month salary.”
I was already getting irritated. “So what? Why do you care what I buy? It’s none of your business.”
Kate looked hurt. “Olivia, I just don’t want you to make the wrong decisions out of vanity. You haven’t done something foolish, have you?”

I frowned, confused about what Kate meant. Suddenly, a girl pushed through the crowd. The moment she saw me, her flashed with hatred. She charged at me and slapped me hard across the face, leaving me stunned and unprepared.
