Chapter 1: The wedding

A bright smile formed on my lips as I sat before the mirror. I was staring at my beautiful reflection in it. My black hair fell over my shoulder adding more to my charm. 1 look so stunning and I would say my beauty is irreplaceable. The light makeupako adits more to my charm.
Today is my wedding day and I am the most excited person on Earth right now. My last long dream finally came true. I’m finally getting to my childhood sweetheart, my first love Ethan Andersen. However, I will clock eighteen next month, and I don’t know if he’s my mate. But who cares about that? Even if he’s not my mate, we are getting married today and nothing will change that
I rose to my feet instantly and made my way out of the room. The hallway was unusually quiet, I guessed everyone had gone to the ballroom. I couldn’t hide the happiness in my eyes. Anyone who sees me right now would know that I’m more than happy.
My eyes scanned the place, my eyes suddenly fell on Elena’s door. She said she would be back but she was nowhere to be found. Hope nothing is wrong with her. Where is she?

That means Ethan was cheating on me with her. Tears welled up in my eyes, threatening to fall. I peeped through the door hole and found the two kissing. “The bitch thinks you love her. How stupid of her. I just hate her.” Elena spat out in disdain. “You are not the only one. I feel so disgusted that I will have to sleep with her tonight.“”

You know how much I love Ethan. Yet you dared to betray me.” I roared. More tears flowed down my face. My heart ached so much and I found it hard to breathe.
None of them said anything and were staring at me with a blank expression on his face instead I could not tell what they were thinking

I turned around, ready to leave but just as I took a step forward. I felt a sharp pain in my stomach instantly. I look down at my stomach. I was shocked to the bone to find a sword perced my stomach. My white dress was stained with blood immediately
Before I could wrap my head around what happened. The sword was removed from my stanach and I spat out a mouthful of blood. I turned around slowly and was shocked to the bone to find a sword in Elena’s sword. The sword was stained with my blood and my blood was dripping on the flour. I moved my ger to her face. She was flashingine a mocking smile Not even a hint of guilt was in her eyes.
