Chapter 32: The Five Elders
Tricia’s POV
“I don’t like the way you’re talking to me. You lack manners and respect. Your parents must be some rotten bastards like you” Miss Mary spat out coldly.
I shrugged my shoulders in reply, “Well, they are ”
“Don’t think, because you will go away with what you did today next time,” she said through her gritted teeth, but I didn’t even spare her a glance.
I moved my gaze to Ella and winked at her, “Put eyes on your cheek. That will make your cheeks look good a bit. You look so ugly right now–an eyesore, to be precisa. ”
“Shut the fuck up bitch”
I could hear her yelling from behind, but I did not even turn around, and my smile did not wither.
I made my way to the kitchen and pushed open the door. Immediately, everyone directed their gazes to me,
Ava quickly approached me. “Are you feeling fine?” she asked and started checking me out, looking for any trace of a wound on my body.
I flashed her a smile and patted her head. “I am excellent m. I was not punished, ” Treplie
Miss Mary and Ella entered as well. They were both glaring at m
hut 1 spare none of them a glance,
The kitchen was already filled with salivating aroma. My stomach grumbled slightly.
“You can start dishing out the food and take it to the dining hall,” Miss Mary instructed, and everyone sprang into action
I did not want to pick a fight with Miss Mary. I also joined the maid.
“You should all carry it to the dining hall,” Miss Mary announced, and we all made our way out of the kitchen.
1, Ava, Ella, and two other maids took the food to the dining hall.
A guard helped us open the door, and we all stepped in.
To be candid, the maids here really know how to cook. The food aroma is making it hard for me to think, and I wish to have a bite of it today as well.
We placed the food on the dining table and started dishing it out. Emily said next to the Alpha this time, as they were sitting so close to each other.
Five other men were also present in the dining room. They were old already but still full of energy. I wondered who they are
H
“Greetings to the elders.” The maids suddenly greeted, bowing their heads politely to the elders.
I widened my eyes in horror. So they were the elders, and no one had warned me beforehand. I quickly joined the maids in bowing them.
Once again. I want to be something other than the center of attention.
“Alpha, your maids are well trained, “one of the elders suddenly said
“Thank you my Lord.” They all chorused
I could feel the Elder’s gaze on me, but I looked away instantly. I’m not good at dealing with old men.
“Who are you? Do you despise greeting us that much?” she suddenly said out of the blue, and I widened my eyes in shock.
Of course not. I opened my mouth to talk, but Lyra beat me to it.
“Of course not. She is a new maid, so I guessed this is her first time seeing you, Elder Williams,” Lyra said, and I nodded, agreeing with her.
We all turned our heels. Ready to leave the place.
“Wait.” I heard Emily’s voice, and we all stopped in our tracks, turning around in unison.
For some odd reasons. I did not know why I felt like he was talking to you
“Tricia you should stay” She suddenly announced,
my
Burrowed brow, my eyes full of questions. I wanted to ask her why, but I refrained from uttering
g a word. I watched as the rest of the maids walked
out of the dining hall
I directed my gaze to Fully. Asking her with my eyes why she told me to stay.
“Stop standing there. You should come here iristead.”
I suck in a deep breath before walking over to them. I stood not too far away from her seat.
“You will live to help me with something once l’in done eating, so stay here for now, “she said, and I nodded slowly.
I wondered why she couldn’t just call me whenever she was done eating. So I would have to remain standing until she was done?
That’s unbelievable
She suddenly moved closer in Lucian. There is barely oor luch of space between
1 furrowed my gaze slightly as I continued to sta | them. For some unknown reason. I don’t like how the bitch was too close to Lucian, I have the urge
