Emily dipped her chopsticks into the food. She took some food with her.
I watched as she moved the chopsticks to Lucian’s mouth.
Out of instinct, I balled my hand into a fist
Lucian opened his mouth and took the food. She glanced at me, and the corner of her lips curled.
So this is what she was trying to do, that was why she said I should wait.

She continues to feed him without eating at all.
“Luna, you should eat as well. The food might get cold by the time you want to eat. Also, my brother can eat himself,” Lyra said through her gritted teeth. She sounded concerned, but I could sense the sarcasm in her voice.
“Thanks for your concern, but I am okay with eating cold food, Feeding my husband is my priority,” she said with a huge smile. She intentionally emphasized “my husband.”
Is it for me to know that Lucian is her husband?
“What a loving couple.” The elders said with a big smile on his face.
I love the couple, my foot. I had the urge to roll my eyes at the Elder, but I refrained from doing so.
“Oh, that reminds me of the reason we all came here,” Elder William said, wiping his mouth with a napkin.
“It has been one year already since you were married,” he begins, sitting comfortably in his chair.
“Yeah, what about it?” Lucian replied. He had a bored expression on his face, showing he was not interested in whatever the Elders came here to say.
“Luna has yet to conceive, which is out of the ordinary. Are you sure nothing is wrong with you two?” Elder Williams asked, furrowing his brow.
“Nothing is wrong with us.” Lucian replied flatly.
“Then why is Luna still unable to conceive?” Elder Matthew added.
I held my breath as I watched them discuss it. I don’t know if they have forgotten that I am still here or if they don’t mind discussing this kind of matter in my present
“That is none of my business. Am I the moon goddess who will give her a child?” His cold valce echoed through the place, showing how annoyed he was already.
“Why are you sounding as if you were less bothered if she conceived or not?” Elder Gabriel also added. “Yeah. Why should I be bothered?” His reply left everyone speechless, and they all stared at him in awe.
