Chapter 17
Carly stayed in the hospital for several days, and no one went to visit her.
She returned to the Glover family as soon as she was discharged from the hospital. Layla was also sitting in the living room.
“Are you back? Are you feeling better?”
Hearing Layla’s sudden concern, she paused for a moment.
“Um, I’m better now.”
But Colton showed no reaction. He lazily leaned back on the couch.
It has been a few days since we last met, and Colton seems to have become even more haggard.
Only he understood in his heart that the longer the time passed, the stronger his desire to see Julia became.
Carly, dragging her tired body, wanted to go back to her room, but she was stopped by Colton’s shout..
“What did you do?”

Colton closed his eyes, with a slight smile on his lips.
“Room? There was no longer your room here.”
Carly stood still in place, her eyes fixed on the mother and son.
What does it mean? “It means there is no room for you here, don’t you understand?”
Colton spoke just as ruthlessly.
Carly chuckled and said to them.
“Don’t forget, we haven’t divorced yet.
Layla glanced at her, stood up, and still had that smiling face.
“Carly, today we came here to tell you about the divorce.”
Carly no longer had children, so they were naturally of no use to them.

understood her situation in her heart, but she was unwilling to accept it.
Colton was so indifferent that he killed his child with his own hands.
This was something she had never expected, compared to Colton’s previous gentleness and thoughtfulness
She only realized that she had been the one deceived all along.
Carly did not agree to the divorce. Layla also did not mince her words.
“If you don’t get a divorce, we, the Glover family, will no longer accept you and will kick you out of this house.”
“But if you accepted the divorce, perhaps we would give you some money.”
This was forcing Carly to make a choice
Carly, without any hesitation, resumed her previous sharpness.
“Don’t forget, it was you w
who caused me to lose my child, and you are responsible for it!”
“Be careful, I exposed all of you to the media!”
She has no convincing power in her speech at all now.
Layla and Colton didn’t care at all.
Watching her still threatening, Layla had already started calling someone to throw her things out.
And Colton just stood by quietly, watching without any intention of helping
Carly panicked when she saw the situation and immediately rushed forward to stop it.
“What are you doing!” “These are all my things ”
The servants all bypassed her and threw everything outside, Carly understood that there was no turning back
He immediately loosened his mouth.
“I’m leaving! Give me money and I’ll leave!”
Colton slowly stood up after hearing it.
“If only I had known earlier, wouldn’t it have been better?”
As soon as I made up my mind, I went to the courthouse to get the certificate. By the time Carly realized and came to collect the money.
Layla, however, did not admit it.
“Did I say that? Now you no longer care about our family, so why should our money be given to you?”
Carly was so angry that she couldn’t stand still. She went forward to grab Colton, but she didn’t expect to be thrown to the ground
forcefully,
“Don’t bother me anymore, I felt disgusted every time I saw you!”
Carly was dumped on the ground like a stray dog.
With people coming and going, Carly could only find a place to rest for a while.
She had never imagined that her ending would be like this, and now she is more Colton than anyone else.
She edited the message and sent it all out in one breath.
“During the engagement period of the Glover family’s son, he had secret meetings with other women.
“Colton intentionally caused an abortion!”
Perhaps she was worried about this day, so she had kept a lot of photos in advance.
And these photos were enough to plunge their family into a period of public controversy.
Carly watched as insults kept pouring out on her phone, and she watched as the Glover family company’s stocks plummeted.
