Chapter 17 Darrell’s Gift
Sierra felt great after spending a night in the room Garrett had prepared
for her.
There was top–notch computer equipment in the base, yet the bed wasn’t nearly as soft and cozy. Garrett put thought into the room indeed.
It was the best gift she had ever received.
In a good mood, she had a better appetite for breakfast.
Seeing this, Karla poured her another glass of milk.
Seeing the smug expression on Sierra’s face, Isabella felt so bitter. She kept eating with her head lowered in silence.
Meanwhile, she thought, “Damn you, Sierra. I’ll see how long you get to keep that smug look on your face.”
Just then, Trevon said to Sierra, “Rara, I know you’re excellent in your studies, but you still need to experience campus life, or you’ll regret it someday. It’s an important part of life.”
Knowing what he meant, Sierra nodded after a brief moment of pondering. “I see, Dad. I’ll go to class today.”
Egbert knew her true identity, but Trevon and Karla didn’t. She should act like a normal student, which would put their mind at ease.
She didn’t have any missions now anyway; being a student would be a good way to hide her identity. She had no objections about that.

Trevon nodded. “I’m glad to hear that. I’m happy to see you make more friends.” Sierra had always been alone, and she was isolated. Making more friends would help her get along with her brothers, who weren’t easy to get along.
“Thanks, Dad. Don’t worry. I will.” Sierra nodded again while sighing that those around her were just her team members in the organization, and she indeed had no friends, which was quite odd for normal students.
Hearing that Sierra was about to go to school, Isabella offered, “Sierra, you’re welcome to take my car to school.”
Isabella had a chauffeur who drove her to school. Since Sierra had just come back and didn’t have a car yet, she felt that her offer was appropriate, which also eased the burdens on Trevon and Karla,
Sierra noticed the smug look on Isabella’s face and sneered inwardly.
In fact, she had plenty of cars overseas, and she didn’t need Isabella’s hand–me–downs at all.
Just as she was about to turn Isabella’s offer down, the housekeeper came to Trevon with a man in a driver’s uniform.
“Morning. Mr. Trevon. Mr. Darrell sent me to deliver a car to Ms. Sierra. Please have her sign for it.” The driver looked at Trevon respectfully.
Those present were shocked. “A car from Darrell?”
The driver said politely, “Yes. Mr. Darrell heard that Ms. Sierra had returned home, but he was still busy with a case overseas, so he sent me to deliver the car as his welcome gift for Ms. Sierra.”
They now understood that the car was a gift from Darrell Cordova, Sierra’s second eldest brother, for her.
Chapter 17 Damel’s Gift
What a coincidence; his car arrived just before she was going to school.
Trevon was surprised. “Rara, Darrell loves cars more than his life. Each of his cars is a limited edition, and he rarely gives them away. Clearly, you mean a lot to him.”
Sierra was equally surprised. Yesterday, Garrett gave her a high–tech luxury suite, and today, she received a car from Darrell?
Was this the benefit of having brothers? She was so lucky.
Next to her. Isabella pulled an extremely long face, the jealousy in her eyes obvious.
Darrell and the others were nice to her, but they had never spent so much on her.
Darrell’s cars were all limited editions, each worth hundreds of thousands of dollars.
In the past, she was regarded as their sister, but how come they treated Sierra way better than the way they treated her?
Sierra said to the driver, “Please thank Darrell for me. I’ll treat him to a meal when he comes back.” Though she had plenty of cars, she didn’t see the need to turn down such a fancy one.
The driver smiled, “Alright. I’ll convey your message, Ms. Sierra.”
Now that everyone had finished their meal, Trevon stood up and said to Sierra, “Let’s go check out the car Darrell sent you. If you don’t like it, I’ll buy you another one.”
Sierra smiled awkwardly, “Dad, that’s not necessary. I love it as long as it’s from Darrell.” She had a lot of cars in the organization, but she had none under her real identity, so any car would do.

“I’ll join you.” Karla was curious, too, so she tagged along.
No one paid attention to Isabella, who followed them hesitantly out of unwillingness and jealousy.
At the entrance of the Cordova’s manor, under the brilliant sunshine, there was a limited–edition Bugatti in a stunning color.
Sierra was surprised at how generous Darrell was. It was a limited edition from last year, and no amount of money could buy it now. Driving it
would definitely turn heads.
Besides, everything about it–from its design to its style–was perfectly in line with her taste.
Her brothers‘ gifts matched her preferences. Sure enough, they were siblings by blood.
Seeing her eyes lighting up, the driver could tell how much she loved the car and said, “Ms. Sierra, Mr. Darrell wants you to know that if you ever get sick of this car, you can let him know, and he’ll get you another one at any time.”
Darrell was actually so considerate, which surprised Sierra. She looked at the driver and said politely, “Please tell him that I love this car. But I’ll still visit him someday to browse his collection.”
Why say no to all those fancy cars?
“Alright. Then I’ll get out of your hair now. Bye, Ms. Sierra,” the driver said. Having completed his task, he left.
Sierra smiled, nodding, “Bye.”
Looking at Sierra next to the car, Isabella was overwhelmed with envy.
As she turned to fetch her backpack, her expression was filled with
malice.
Grinding her teeth, she thought, “Wait and see, Sierra.
“I’ll make you pay for all the humiliation I suffered today.”
