Chapter 22 The Principal’s Favoritism!
“She clearly kicked me first!” Marvin retorted angrily.
“I saw everything. If you hadn’t provoked her, would Sierra have taught you the lesson?” Egbert scolded Marvin. He knew Sierra’s abilities well. If he hadn’t arrived in time, Marvin and his lackeys would likely be headed. to the hospital by now.
“What are you standing there for? Hurry up and apologize.” Egbert shouted sharply.
Marvin didn’t see this coming. Seeing Egbert’s stern expression, he knew. he couldn’t defy him. Grudgingly, he walked over to Sierra but still refused to apologize.
Egbert shot him a sharp look again, signaling him to apologize to Sierra immediately.
Realizing there was no way out, Marvin could only mutter, “Sorry,” with a resentful expression.
Egbert sighed in relief. Then, with a softer tone, he turned to Sierra. “I kind of spoiled him, so he often causes trouble. I know he’s offended you earlier, but please don’t take it personally.”
“No problem.” Since the principal had spoken up for her, Sierra naturally wanted to return the favor and show respect.
“By the way, you two haven’t met before. Now that you’ve run into each other, you should introduce yourselves.”
“This is Marvin, and this is Sierra.” Egbert smiled, introducing them to

each other.
Sierra finally looked at Marvin. She noticed that his facial features had. some resemblance to the principal’s. Seeing Egbert speak on his behalf, she figured he must be the principal’s grandson, which explained why he
was so arrogant.
“Now that you know each other, Sierra, please do me a favor. My boy is always fooling around. You’re so capable. Maybe you can let him follow you around and learn something. Help me keep an eye on him,” Egbert suggested, trying to get Marvin to learn from Sierra.
“Follow her?!”
“Well…”
Both spoke almost simultaneously. Sierra glanced at Marvin and spoke first, “You heard him. He doesn’t want to… so I…”
“Don’t listen to him. I’m the one in charge here,” Egbert interjected, firmly.
“You’re a bit older than him, so just help me out by guiding him. If he ever disrespects you, let me know, and I’ll take care of him,” the principal. added, looking at Marvin, making sure he couldn’t argue.
“Okay,” Sierra agreed, seeing there was no way to refuse. She took it as returning the principal’s favor.
Seeing Sierra agree, Egbert relaxed. He then noticed the plates on the floor and said, “You didn’t eat much. There’s a great restaurant outside.. Let me take you to try it.”
Hearing that the principal wanted to treat them to a meal, Abbey quickly backed away, whispering in Sierra’s ear, “Sierra, I’m full. There’s

something I need to do back in class. I’ll leave now.”
“Goodbye.” she said, as she hurriedly left the cafeteria.
Looking at Marvin, Sierra had no interest in eating with him. She turned to Egbert and said, “Thank you for the kind offer, but I’m not hungry. I’ll treat you another day.”
After bidding farewell to Egbert, Sierra left the cafeteria, weaving through the crowd.
The students, still in shock, were left in awe of her courag and her
connections.
Egbert wanted to take her to lunch, but she had the audacity to turn him down. Unbelievable…
“Alright, everyone,” Egbert announced, waving them off.
“Come to my office,” he said, giving Marvin an unsatisfied glance before walking away.
Abbey, still in a daze, returned to the classroom. As she sat down, she saw Sierra walking in.
She immediately got up and asked, “Sierra, how did you come back so soon? Didn’t the principal want to take you out to eat?”
“I refused,” Sierra replied calmly.
Abbey was stunned. She couldn’t believe Sierra had rejected the principal’s offer. This girl was so bold!
Just then, Miley and Tania walked in. They glanced at Sierra, but they didn’t dare to provoke her anymore. Instead, they quietly sat back down.

At that moment, Sam walked in looking dejected, and all eyes turned to him. But after a while, they realized Marvin hadn’t come with him.
Miley looked at Sam Dalton and asked, “Sam, where’s Marvin? How come you’re back alone?”
Sam shot Miley Spears an impatient look. “He’s in the principal’s office.” Then he glanced at Sierra.
Miley immediately understood. Her eyes flashed with anger as she glared at Sierra. It was all Sierra’s fault. If she hadn’t shown up, none of this would have happened. Marvin wouldn’t have been called into the principal’s office and scolded.
“Sierra Cordova, let’s wait and see…” Miley muttered under her breath.
Abbey looked at Sierra with some concern. She knew Marvin’s personality. He always took revenge. Since Sierra had embarrassed him in front of so many people, he would definitely find a way to get back at her.
It seemed that Sierra had caused quite a stir on her first day at school, and it looked like things weren’t going to be smooth. Abbey regretted whether she had made the right choice by approaching Sierra.
Sierra, however, seemed completely unaffected, continuing to read her
book.
The whole day passed peacefully. Marvin didn’t show up.
At the school gate, students were waiting for their rides. Abbey walked with Sierra, but she couldn’t see the car to pick her up.

“Sierra, how are you getting home?” Abbey asked, scanning for her own car.
“I drive,” Sierra replied straightforwardly.

“Drive? You have a license?” Abbey gave her an envious look.
“Yes,” Sierra said as she walked over to her Bugatti and got in.
“This is your car?! It’s so gorgeous!” Abbey exclaimed, gazing at the limited edition Bugatti with awe, almost reaching out to touch it.
Just then, Marvin, Sam, and a few other boys blocked her car.
“Sierra Cordova, get out of the car!” Marvin shouted, pointing at her from the front..
“If it weren’t for you, I wouldn’t have been humiliated in the cafeteria and dragged into the principal’s office. I’m not going to let this slide. I’m going to make sure you apologize to me today, or you’re not leaving!”
Sierra rolled her eyes in disdain. These childish tricks were nothing to her. She lowered the car window expressionlessly and said, “If you have something to say, say it. If not, move out of the way.”
“How dare you talk to Marvin like that! Get out of the car!” one of Marvin’s lackeys yelled.
Sierra didn’t have time for their nonsense. She started the car, and the engine roared, backing them off.
“You think you can leave without apologizing? If you don’t get out of the car and apologize, I won’t let you leave!” Marvin stood defiantly in front of the Bugatti, hands on his hips.
