Chapter 25 The Teacher Takes the Fall
“Continue keeping an eye on him for me. Keep me posted about her,” Fabian looked at Wayne and said.
“Yes, sir.”
“Sierra…” Fabian became increasingly interested in his fiancée.
The next morning, after breakfast, Trevon drove Sierra and Isabella to
school.
As soon as Sierra got out of the car, she was instantly recognized by other students. “Isn’t she the one who took down Marvin yesterday? Why didn’t she drive a car today?”
“I didn’t expect she and Isabella would come to school in the same car.
She must be a Cordova too.”
“No wonder she acted so tough yesterday. Turns out she has a strong family background!”
Hearing the students‘ discussion, Trevon glanced around and then shifted his gaze to Sierra and Isabella. “You may go to class now.” Then, he headed toward Egbert’s office.
After Trevon left, Sierra scanned the crowd coldly, rendering them quiet. at once. Then, she strode to her classroom.
“Sierra.” Abbey glimpsed Sierra from afar and then trotted over.
“Abbey, why are you in such a hurry?” Sierra turned her head to look at Abbey.

believed that Sierra must be too astounded to react.
“No.” Sierra continued heading toward the classroom.
Abbey suddenly got in Sierra’s way and said, “How about not going to class today? Marvin and his lackeys must be waiting for you in the classroom.
“I’ll take a few days off for you later. I can tell the teacher that you’re sick. Then you can stay home for several days until things cool off. Anyway, you’re academically excellent. It doesn’t matter to miss a few days in class.” Abbey thought carefully and came up with an idea for Sierra.
“Give me your phone number so that I can keep you updated about school.” Abbey stared at Sierra, waiting for the latter to take out her phone.
Sierra looked at Abbey’s cute actions and couldn’t help chuckling. “Thank you for looking out for me.” Then, she continued going forward.
“Hey! Sierra, why are you still going? I meant what I said!” Abbey hastened to keep up with Sierra.
“I’m serious too. Let’s get going. It’s time for class.” For years, nobody could ever scare her. It was merely a post. She didn’t care at all.
On the way, plenty of students recognized Sierra was the girl mentioned. in the post and all laid their eyes on her.
“Hello.” In the corridor, whoever met her would greet her discreetly as if they were afraid of pissing her off.
Feeling other people’s reverence, Sierra was indifferent. It was no big deal. to be revered by some students.
Arriving at the door of Class A, Sierra felt a sense of depression from the

classroom before entering the door. Clearly, Marvin had been mad for the whole morning.
The students in the classroom became even more nervous as Sierra walked in. Apparently, they had seen the post too. Only Marvin and his friends sitting in the last row were glaring at her fiercely. Sierra couldn’t bear to talk to them. She just walked to her seat. Before she sat down, she realized her chair had been tampered with. She knew well who did this.
She glanced at the teacher’s chair and had an idea. Then, she picked up her chair and swapped it with the teacher’s before returning to her seat. and starting to read.
Seeing Sierra replace the teacher’s chair, Marvin felt displeased and thought. “She must have found what happened to her chair. I didn’t expect she was able to find it.”
“Marvin, she didn’t sit on that chair. What should we do?” Sam whispered to Marvin.
“What could we possibly do? Go and replace the teacher’s chair with a good one.” Marvin didn’t want the trick to backfire.
Sam was walking to the podium when Helen came in with a textbook and said, “Everybody go back to your seat. I have an announcement to make.”
“Sam, why are you holding my chair? Put it down and go back to your seat.” Helen glimpsed Sam’s action out of the corner of her eye and then said.
“Ms. Bailey, your chair is too old. I wanna replace it with a new one.” Sam lied with a forced smile.
“It doesn’t matter whether it’s old or new. Just go back to your seat,” Helen rejected Sam’s offer.

Sam didn’t move. Instead, she exchanged a glance with Marvin. Marvin turned his head helplessly.
“What are you waiting for? Go back to your seat,” Helen urged.
“In recent years, students‘ physical condition has been average. To improve your physical fitness, there will be a course about physical improvement for you.”
“What… Does it mean we’ll have to take physical training? I’m not interested.” Some students started to back off.
“I’m not done yet. Listen!”
Helen knew what the students were thinking. “The course begins every Friday afternoon. It’s compulsory for every student. Nobody is allowed to ask for leave with any excuse,” she said while glancing at those students who wanted to skip it.
“Ms. Bailey, does it start this week?”
“Yes.”
“What? So, it’ll begin tomorrow. It may kill us…”
“Nonsense. No one wants to kill you. The course is set up to improve your physical qualities. You should show support for this,” Helen tried to persuade the students and establish the right mindset for them.
“Look at Sierra. Unlike you, she’s so composed.”
Instantly, everyone fixed their eyes on Sierra. Yet, she just focused on reading as if not hearing what Helen said.
“Burying her head into the book all day long. She’s acting like she can understand it.” Miley glanced at Sierra. She was still mad about
yesterday.
Sierra showed no regard for others and looked relaxed.
After all, others didn’t know her. She could do well in studying and physical training, so she didn’t take it seriously.
The bell rang.
“Alright, you may discuss this after class. It’s time for class now.” Helen opened the textbook and started the lesson.
Marvin and his lackeys all kept a close eye on the chair. Every time Helen walked to the chair, they were worried that she might sit on it.
There were five minutes before the class was over. Marvin and the others were finally relieved. As long as the bell rang and Helen left, they could replace the chair then.
Suddenly, a shout came from the podium. Everyone looked at the podium. “Where’s Ms. Bailey?”
The next second, a student said, “Ms. Bailey seems to be standing behind the teacher’s desk.”
“Help!” Helen’s voice came from behind the teacher’s desk.
