Chapter 19
Antonio was stunned by the slap for a long time, and it took him a while to slowly raise his hand and touch his swollen face.
“Not a dream?”
Grace had long been upset by this inexplicable day, and immediately sneered. “A dream? Of course it was a dream.”
“I was also unlucky to encounter such a nightmare!”
Without looking at him anymore, she turned around and walked downstairs.
“Grace!”
Antonio finally woke up and quickly went down to chase after her. As the two struggled, Grace’s feet slipped and she immediately fell down as if weightless.
“Be careful!”
Antonio panicked, instinctively trying to pull her, but he was ultimately a step too late, only managing to protect her in his arms.
“Dong!”
With a loud crash, the two individuals fell heavily to the ground.
Because of Antonio’s care, Grace had no major problems except for a slight dizziness in her head.

Looking at Antonio, who was still lying on the ground, a trickle of blood. had already spilled from the back of his head.
“Mr. Kaufman!”
The villa immediately became chaotic, and the butler quickly sent the two people to the hospital.
This had been going on for several days.
While Antonio was still in the hospital, Grace planned to secretly leave.
Little did she know that as soon as she arrived at the door, she was intercepted by the servant of the villa.
Grace’s face immediately turned cold: “What do you mean by this?”
The two servants looked at her with difficulty and said, “Sorry, Ms. Parrish, without Mr. Kaufman’s orders, you cannot leave.”
As if hearing a joke, Grace chuckled and said, “Just say it if you want to imprison me.”
Before the servants could react, Grace pushed their hands away and started to walk out.
After all, Grace was the person Antonio liked, so the servant didn’t dare to lay a hand on her.
He could only chase after her while trying to persuade her: “Ms. Parrish, Ms. Parrish, you really couldn’t leave!”
The servant remained silent, but once he spoke, Grace’s footsteps quickened even more.
Just at that moment, a Maybach parked steadily in front of them, and then
the car door was pushed open by someone inside.
Pale–faced Antonio got off the train and stood in front of Grace.
“Grace.”
“Don’t call me that, I felt disgusted!”
Since returning to her home country, Grace had been preparing to reunite with Antonio.
She knew very well that neither she nor the Parrish family could compete. with him or the Kaufinan family, so she wanted to seek stability.
She was only thinking about not provoking him, not having more contact
with him.
Even if she had to make contact, she had to control herself and avoid getting into conflicts with him, so as not to invite trouble for herself.
Grace never could have imagined that her constant concessions would only make Antonio more and more insane.
He used to frequently come to the theater to gamble on himself, and if he couldn’t see her, he would call or send her text messages.
After being blocked by Grace, he didn’t feel discouraged, after all, she was still in Udryadale.
Now he doesn’t even act anymore, yet he wants to directly imprison her in the Kaufman family!
“Are you crazy? What on earth did you want to do!”
Seeing Grace in such a crazy state, Antonio felt that this was the real Grace.
They had been in a relationship for at least three years, so how could Grace possibly have such a compromising and accommodating nature?
Antonio smiled gently, but his eyes were filled with madness: “Madness?”
“Grace, I wasn’t crazy, I was just afraid of losing you again, so I wanted to keep you by my side.”
He stared at the person in front of him with obsession, and couldn’t help but reach out his hand to touch her.
“Do you know I truly went insane that year after you faked your death?!”
After Grace’s death, the entire people of Udryadale knew that Antonio. had gone mad.
He sent his once close brothers and childhood friends, who had been like brothers to him for over a decade, all to prison.
He disregarded the opposition of the Kaufman family elders and insisted on burying Grace under the name Mrs. Kaufman.
Even in the end, he started praying, just to see Grace in his dreams.
He has already become more restrained now.
If it had been him in the past, he would have directly tied her up and taken her to the City Hall on the day Grace dropped her mask.
And not like now, just keeping her trapped within oneself.
