Chapter 21
In the past month, Grace did consider running away.
But Antonio was like he had a tracker on her, no matter where she went, Antonio could always find her.
Even to teach her a lesson, he even suspended her dance troupe’s work.
Of course, his excuses to Kevin’s dance troupe were not as harsh as before, he just said that they had been apart for a long time and wanted to spend more time alone together.
After they got married, she would naturally go back.
Yes, we got married.
At the press conference back then, Antonio not only announced the news of Grace’s fake death but also revealed the joyful news of their marriage one month later.
She had no idea about all of this, so she ended up having a fight with Antonio after the press conference.
But it still couldn’t change the fact that Antonio wanted to marry her.
And today. Antonio brought her to a luxury goods store to pick out some things they would need for their wedding.
As for the wedding dress and such, Antonio had already arranged for a private customization overnight.
And at that moment, Antonio, who had just paid, entered the private room
and gently took her hand, smiling softly. “Let’s go.”
Grace still didn’t say a word, allowing him to lead her out of the luxury
store and into the car
As the car moved along, the street scenes outside the window quickly receded, but it couldn’t erase the sorrowful look in Grace’s eyes.
She did not want or wish to break the news to Antonio about the
marriage
But she had no way to escape from him.
Does she have to just watch herself marry someone she doesn’t love?
Grace’s hands, which were placed on her lap, gradually clenched as she exerted too much force, highlighting the whitened knuckles.
As the wedding date approached, Grace’s heart grew more and more
Thinking that she was nervous about the wedding, Antonio took the time to take her out for a play.
But halfway through, he received an urgent call from the company.
He had no choice but to let Grace go to the restaurant and wait for him to finish his work before he could come and find her.
When Antonio got off the car, he instinctively wanted to give Grace a farewell kiss.
And she quickly turned her head, so his kiss only landed on her cheek.
Antonio finished his meal and then chuckled as he got up and got off the
car.
Chapter 21
The moment the car door closed: Grace’s disgust finally revealed itself in
her eyes.
She quickly pulled out a wet wipe from her bag and vigorously wiped her cheeks that had been kissed by Antonio.
She only discarded the wet wipes in her hand when her entire cheeks had been wiped so vigorously that they were swollen and almost about to break the skin.
The restaurant was empty in the evening, with only Grace sitting by the window, and her bodyguard dutifully guarding her at each exit.
These bodyguards were actually protecting in order to monitor, in case Grace tried to escape.
Grace continued to enjoy her meal in front of her after the bodyguards closed the door.
“Miss, this was the blueberry mousse you ordered.”
Grace didn’t order any dessert at all.
Just as she was about to explain to the waiter in front of her, in that instant she looked up and saw a very familiar face.
“Juliet?”
The “Juliet” in front of me paused for a moment and then said, “I am not her. I am her sister, Jenny Houle.”
Seeing Grace’s cautious and retreating appearance, Jenny let out a disdainful laugh.
“What are you hiding from? I am not like my sister who would hurt you.”
Upon hearing this. Grace finally let her guard down and asked, “Do you have something to tell me?”
Jenny sat down across from Grace and tapped the table with her fingers before slowly speaking. “I came to clean up my sister’s mess.”
