Chapter 3
Antonio hadn’t come home since that day. Stella didn’t come by.
It gave me the time to get rid of the unnecessary things in the house.
They carried a lot of memories. Yet, I only thought they were useless. trash now.
On the fourth day, I was still cleaning the house when Antonio finally returned.
“I transferred $800 to you. Check it,” Antonio said as a provocation. It seemed that he expected me to be happy or apologize to him.
“OK.”
After a long silence, Antonio spoke up.
“Stop packing. Stella insists that she has to go to Seavista. I’ll take her this time. She could use the eye–opener.”
“OK.”
But I didn’t stop packing.
“I’m not changing my mind, though you’re giving me the silence. treatment. You’re not a child anymore. Stop throwing a tantrum. Act like
a big sister for once.
“You’ll have plenty of chances to visit Seavista.”
I just wanted Antonio to shut up, so I found a random excuse.
“Tim packing to go home so I won’t have the time to go to Seavista”
Atotoo clearly relaxed and has aggressive tone turned soft
I didn’t wanna allen Antono angway. Once I was in Capdale. he wouldn’t be able to nag me
“Grace, you’re gonna live in Seavista with me in the future. It may be Stella’s only chance to visit there
“Next time. OK? III take you to Seavista next time.”
I heard him, but I wasn’t listening
After all, in my previous life. I never saw Seavista until I died.
Antonio never gave me a call even after Stella dumped him.
“Grace?”
“OK. Whatever you say.”
My aloof attitude made Antonio a little anxious.
How ironic. I was just treating him the way he treated me.
“I almost forgot. The wedding dress. You haven’t picked one, have you?” Antonio suddenly asked.
I planned to buy painting tools tomorrow. It had been years since I picked up a brush.
“Tomorrow, L…” Stella cut me off.
“Antonio, I wanna go dress shopping too.”
Antonio’s gloomy expression disappeared immediately.

“Then you should come with us. You can be the bridesmaid.”
“I have a schedule tomorrow.” I finally finished my sentence.
Antonio’s expression darkened again. “You can go after buying a wedding dress.”
“Antonio, maybe Grace said it because she didn’t want me to tug along. I should leave you alone.”
Antonio ruffled Stella’s hair.
“Don’t worry. She’ll let you come with us.‘
I didn’t wanna waste my time on this argument anymore. I was leaving anyway. So, I said casually. “Alright.”
The next morning, I wasn’t awakened by my alarm. Antonio and Stella’s laughter woke me.
I looked at my phone. It was 1, September.
The second I left my room, the laughter stopped.

Antonio was carrying a bowl of warm water and tried clean a sleepy
Stella’s face.
I was such a fool in my last life. How could I not sense something was wrong when I saw this?
At that time. I even believed that would be our morning routine when I moved to Seavista.
Next to the boutique was a jewelry store.
“Look, Antonio. This diamond ring is so pretty.”
I was standing in the distance when Antonio glanced at me.
“Go in and check it out. Mom asked me to buy a ring for Grace anyway.”
Stella immediately pouted.
“Antonio, I want a ring too.” She then asked the saleswoman to show her another diamond ring.
“Is it beautiful on my hand, Antonio?”
Antonio looked at me before answering. “Mom asked me to get it for Grace. Maybe I can get you one next time.”
I couldn’t care less about it.
“Buy her the ring since she likes it so much.”
Antonio turned to Stella and touched her head fondly.
He said to the saleswoman, “I’ll take this one.”
The saleswoman looked at us in confusion, but she wrote the receipt.
anyway.
Antonio looked at me apologetically.
