Chapter 6
Antonio was kicked out of the campus repeatedly, but he refused to give
- up.
He even wore various disguises to sneak in.
To my surprise, Stella came over too.
“Antonio, stop this ruckus. Come home with me and I’ll divorce you.
“Grace, it’s my fault. I’ll divorce him right away.
“I won’t steal your man.”
Stella knelt on campus and cried pitifully with Antonio in her arms.
Antonio hugged her tightly in return.
“Stella, it’s not your fault. Don’t apologize to her.
“Let’s go. We’re getting out of here. You don’t deserve this.”
As they attracted a large crowd, Stella knelt in front of me.
“Grace, I’m sorry. Please don’t be angry at Antonio.”
“Get up, Stella. I’ll take you home.”
I did nothing. But in Antonio, I was the evil woman.
The students took my side and judged these two jerks in low voices.
Whatever. They liked acting so much. Why didn’t they go to the acting

academy?
The dean there might recruit them.

Antonio never returned after that day.
I returned to my school life. In the coffee shop where I worked part–time, I met Marco Heath.
He was a fellow part–time worker. The man always wore a white shirt and had bright eyes.
He was my senior in school and tutored me a lot during exam week.
Gradually, we became friends.
I forgot about Antonio and his annoying harassment.
However, Antonio never stopped writing to me.
“Grace, come home. Forget about our past mistakes and move on, OK?”
“Stella is pregnant. We’re keeping the baby.”
“But I still love you. Do you believe me?”
“Grace, Mom asked you to come home. Stop being stubborn.”
Later, I didn’t bother to open the letters and threw them away directly.
Antonio had no doubt taken persistence to another level.
He must think the world revolved around him.
It was time to close the shop. I was cleaning the tables.

Marco was gathering the garbage.
I looked back and saw that he was watching me.
“Do you want to have dinner together after work?”
“I’m not hungry. I’m on a diet.”
But the next second, my stomach grumbled. I had been working for the whole afternoon and felt hungry now.
“Let’s go. My treat.”
I didn’t have a reason to refuse him, so I agreed. “Let’s split the bill.”
We went to cat stews at the store across from the coffee shop.
The broth was warm, fresh, and tasty, driving my fatigue away immediately.
I gulped down the food, ignoring Marco, who was sitting beside me.
“You said you weren’t hungry. Slow down.”
I raised my head. Marco wiped away the soup on my nose with a napkin.
Awkward, I wanted to bury myself in the stew. I was too nervous to say anything.
“Your nose doesn’t need to cat.”
I retorted, “I know.”
I knew that Marco liked me.
But I was already tired of love and only wanted to devote myself to
studying.
Maybe later
It was my first winter vacation after I entered the university. I didn’t want to but still had to go back home for Christmas.
After all, my family raised me.
bought some snacks in Capdale and went on the train back to my hometown.
Before I arrived home, I had already heard Stella roar.
“Antonio! I told you to buy a car. My belly is so big, but I still have to take that crowded train!
“Do you want me and the kid to live a poor life with you? That’s not what you said when you asked me to get pregnant.”
Stella, who was carrying a big belly, even slapped Antonio in the face.
Antonio acted humbly and didn’t dare to retort.
“Stella, don’t be mad. I will buy a car after Christmas, OK?”
“No! Tomorrow! I don’t care if you need a loan! I’m not going back to Scavista by train as well!”
“Stella, I just started working, and you spent a lot every day.”
Stella had just calmed down. Hearing this, she was angry again.
“You should blame yourself for not earning much money! I’m frugal enough!
“Wait! Did you give your money to Grace behind my back?”
Antonio was in a fluster. “Grace and I were done Don’t you trust me?”
“Then tell me, who did you write that letter to? You sent the letter to Capdale! Don’t try to lie to me!
“You still like Grace, right? I get it.”
Stella was smashing the plates at home while she said this.
Watching the pieces on the ground, Antonio was desperate.
I finally got it. Antonio liked what didn’t belong to him.
In my last life, he had an affair with Stella.
In my current life, he wrote to me.
