tried to run, but strong hands clamped down on her shoulders, holding her in
She was pinned to the floor, helpless and terrified, forced to watch as Lena, knife in hand, closed in on her, step by step.
“What am I doing?” Lena sneered, eyes blazing. “I’m going to ruin that pretty face of yours. Let’s see you try to look like me again with plastic surgery.”
As soon as the words left Lena’s lips, she slashed the knife across Summer’s face with all her strength 4
“Ah!”
The blade tore through her skin, deep and merciless. Summer’s scream ripped through the room.
But Lena wasn’t done. The next cut came almost instantly.

Thirty–four
Fifty–two
Summer’s cries filled the air, raw and desperate. But no one showed her a shred of mercy.
She could hear the wet sound of the blade against her flesh, feel the hot blood running down her cheeks, see the gleeful, twisted grins on the faces surrounding her.
The metallic scent of blood hung heavy in the air. Her face was unrecognizable, a mass of torn skin and blood. Her body trembled uncontrollably.
But Lena stili wasn’t satisfied. She sent one of her friends to the kitchen, and soon they returned with a bucket of homemade chili water.
Without warning. Lena shoved Summer’s ruined face straight into the burning liquid.
Summer screamed–a raw, piercing sound that seemed to shake the walls, the kind of scream that could stop a heart.
It hurt. God, it hurt
But Lena just laughed, snapping photos with her phone, her laughter wild and cruel.
“Look at you now,” she spat. “You’re nothing but a filthy dog. Disgusting. I can’t even look at you.”
“Your face is finished. Let’s see if you dare to go after Alan again.”
Summer tried to form words, but nothing came out. She lay there, motionless, a broken mess in a pool of her own blood, barely breathing.
Lena’s frends crept closer, catching the faintest whisper from Summer’s lips: “You… will… regret this…”
Uneasy, one of them muttered, “Lena, maybe this is too much. What if Mr. Clark finda out?”
Lena just rolled her eyes, folding her arms and admiring her work. “What’s he going to do? Alan loves me. He won’t care about something like this. Besides, I’m having his baby–that’s my get out of jail–free card. You all saw how much he cares about me.”
Her friends nodded, trying to convince themselves.
Lena nudged Summer’s body with her foot. “Let me give you a little advice–Alan doesn’t fall for just anyone. Stop dreaming.”
if you’re that desperate, I’ll get you a few men.”
She took out her phone and made a call
A few minutes later, several homeless men shuffled in–filthy, reeking, their eyes hungry #
Lena grinned cruelly, pointing at Summer’s bleeding, broken body
“She’s all yours. Face is gone but the rest is still good. Do whatever you want–just don’t kill her.”
The men, desperate and starved, wasted no time. They pounced, tearing her dress to shreds.
Their eyes gleamed like wolves as they pawed at her, their hands and mouths everywhere, careless of her pain or the blood.
Summer could only lie there, limp and powerless, unable to fight back
Their hands grew bolder, reaching lower, rough and unrelenting
Her mind drifted away, back to another summer, years ago
She remembered skinning her knee climbing a wall to pick flowers &
Just a little blood, but the boy who meant everything to her had gone pale with worry #
Hrd cleaned her wound so carefully, dabbing it with a cotton swab and blowing on it gentle as a breeze
“Be good, Summer Promise me you won’t get hurt again When you’re in pain, it hurts me even more”
Tears slipped from the comers of her eyes, mixing with blood, vanishing into the floor &
Alan is this what you wanted? Is this what you came fort
Ver clothes were in tatters, her body covered with bruises and stains sheid never be able to wash clean. As the men fumbled with their belts, ready to take the last of har dignity-
Her throat tightened, her breath coming in ragged gasps. Drowning in despair, she steeled herself to bite down on her tongue, to end it all.
And then–the door slammed open, the sound echoing like thunder.
“What the hell are you doing?!”
