His sharply defined features and deep–set eyes exuded natural authority and composure.
The assistant, observing his boss’s interest in the attendees below, provided a timely introduction. “Mr. Anderson, that’s Mr. Pittman of the Pittman Group downstairs. The woman seated behind him is his wife, Emelia Sutton, the second daughter of the Sutton family.”
He pointed to their respective positions below.
“No wonder. An outsider might mistake Justin’s companion for Mrs. Pittman,” Joshua Anderson remarked, his lips curving into an amused smile tinged with mockery.
Having been away for years, he hadn’t expected Atlanta to offer such entertaining drama upon his return.
The woman beside Mr. Pittman is his personal secretary. Rumors say she’s quite close to him,” the assistant added, his gaze settling on Samantha below.
Samantha sat close to Justin, her arm brushing against his with deliberate familiarity. Her syrupy smile and suggestive glances left little to the imagination.
“Quite close indeed,” Joshua mused, narrowing his eyes with disdain.

It seemed Emelia intended to confront Justin. He actually allowed the secretary’s brazen behavior in public.
The assistant muttered under his breath, “To act this shamelessly in front of his wife. The rumors must be true.”
“Mr. Pittman’s clearly blind,” he couldn’t resist adding. Between the two women, Emelia was undeniably superior, yet Justin had baffling tastes.
“Let’s go enjoy the show,” Joshua declared suddenly, a gleam of interest in his eyes.
He turned around and walked toward the auction site.
The assistant hurried after him.
