Chapter 24
“Where are we going?”
Nathan discovered his voice and began to tremble.
Owen suddenly wondered, “Go, go where?”
“It’s strange, why did I say such a thing.”
He shook his head slowly as he spoke, then left.
“You used to clearly like her before, but once she turned eighteen, it was like you became a different person.”
Nathan was struck by lightning, did he like her?
Suddenly, flashes of memories crossed his mind. The first one was when Katie got injured accidentally, and he knelt down to carefully treat her wound. The second one was when Katie fell asleep while helping him with his homework at night, and he gently brushed the stray hair off her face. The third one was of him curling up under the blanket, calling out. Katie’s name as the blanket rhythmically shook
Three Nathans suddenly turned around, all looking at him, wearing different clothes, in different settings, at different ages. But the love and affection in their eyes were exactly the same.
Originally, it was he who had dirty thoughts earlier, it was he who fell in love with her first.
The moment she realized it, the love for Katie could no longer be suppressed, bursting out uncontrollably.
He didn’t care about the many guests at the wedding, he didn’t care about Emelia running towards him with a confused look on her face, and he didn’t even care about the busy traffic on the road.
He made call after call to confirm Katic’s whereabouts and to confirm who was with him that night, whether it was Emelia or her.
His intuition told him that what Owen said was not false.
During the time he was waiting for the phone call, he ran back home first. The room was the same as before, and he couldn’t tell if Katie had taken. anything with her when she left.
After all, the night Emelia slept over, she had already packed up and moved out overnight.
Was it from that time, or even earlier than that, that Katie had already planned to leave him.
He found the place where Zane lived again, and sure enough, it was
empty.
His Katie left, taking their children with her, and walked away with another man without saying a word.
He went into a frenzy, howling impotently in this empty building.
At that moment, the phone rang and said Katie and Zane had already boarded the flight to Britain, which had taken off an hour ago
“I’ll take the fastest plane there, no, arrange a private jet for me. I want to go there right now immediately”
“There is a type of flower in Britain that easily triggers an allergic reaction in Ms. Morley, so they were just transferring flights there and not settling down.”

“And according to the timeline, the two of them were already close to landing.”
Nathan was on the verge of madness at this point. He couldn’t understand anything about allergies or settling down. All he could make out from the words and sentences was one phrase, “You can’t find Ms. Morley.”
You will never know where she went.
Nathan began to mobilize the entire Morley family to investigate Zane again, to investigate where the plane tickets they bought in Britain were flying to.
One phone call after another was made, and one after another was answered.
Finally, there was a piece of news that was useful.
That room that night was originally slept in by Katie.
In the surveillance footage, Katie stumbled into the room half an hour after entering. An hour later, she walked out of the room and disappeared. from the surveillance for half an hour before reappearing on the screen.
He stood at the door of the room with Katie, hesitated for a long time, but eventually walked into the opposite room.
He stared blankly at the monitor, his mind completely empty. Why did he lose all memory of entering Katie’s room? Why was there no trace at all?
