Chapter 26
Nathan pinched the thin photo, looking at the mature and resolute look of his girl in the photo, tears blurring his eyes.
He quickly wiped it away, afraid that he wouldn’t be able to see the person in the photo clearly.
That was the girl he loved, who he missed day and night and who had melted into his bones and blood.
She seemed to have lost weight, but she was stronger. She seemed to have tanned, but her smile was even brighter. There was a little boy next to her, who looked like her. She was staring at the little boy with fascination. He was rolling around in the mud, but his bright eyes told her that he was a mischievous little rascal.
After he had started fantasizing about bringing his son back to his side, he imagined how he would play soccer with him, climb mountains with him, cook with him, and spoil his mother with him.
What a warm and cozy scene it was.
When Nathan finally walked out of Katie’s room, he was blinded by the sunlight.
How long had it been since he had come out of this house?
The maid at home several times thought he had died inside.
Seeing him finally come out, the servants couldn’t help but cry.
How infatuated, how deep in love.

Chapter 28
They looked at him with hopeful eyes, “Bring Ms. Morley back, we all
miss her.”
They had everything prepared early, new clothes, new perfume, after grooming themselves, they boarded a private plane to Switzerland with two expensive gifts.
He looked at his sweaty palms due to nervousness, and suddenly felt like laughing at himself for being like a naive boy who had never been in love.
He had never been in love, of course.
Even though he had a strong connection with Katie, he kept it a secret when he liked her.
When she liked him, he pushed her away.
Even though the two of them had become intimate, there was not a proper kiss between them.
The plane gradually descended, and the country became more vivid in Nathan’s eyes.
This is the place where Katie lived for three years, it looks really lovely.
Based on the address provided by the private detective, he easily found Katie. When he got out of the car, he realized he was shaking uncontrollably.
He couldn’t even stand steady, but luckily there was a bench on the street. He sat down slowly, holding his head, not sure if he was laughing or crying, but his shoulders were shaking non–stop.
Suddenly, a soft and gentle voice sounded in his ear, “Are you okay?”
Very standard Mandarin.
He suddenly looked up and saw the little boy in front of him, who looked exactly like the little person in the photo.
This was his, my son.
Nathan held her in his arms, with so much he wanted to say but all that
came out were sobs.
The little boy started to struggle, muttering a string of adorable words.
What lunatic, what pervert, what madman.
Haha, Nathan laughed heartily in his heart.
His son scolded him.
Suddenly, the son was dragged away, Nathan looked up and saw the person he had been thinking about day and night for three years – Katie.
Katie widened her eyes and thought, “Nathan, how did you end up here?”
She dragged her son behind her, looking at him with a guarded expression.
Nathan was even happier now. This was definitely his son. Otherwise, why would Katie be so on edge? She must have thought he was here to take their son away.
Katie watched as Nathan grinned from ear to ear, making her feel absolutely creeped out.
Was he sick?
The next second, Nathan pulled his son into his arms and said, “Son, from today on, you have a dad.”
