Chapter 1 A Divorced Heiress
“Are you sure you want a divorce?”
Tianna Bennett stood at the entrance of the courthouse, frowning as she looked at the man across from her. “There’s still a year left before the three–year limit that Layton set. Have you thought this through?”
“Don’t worry. I’ve made up my mind.” Melvin Jimenez sneered.
Layton Jimenez, his grandfather, had insisted on the marriage. Melvin. never wanted it, even back then. Though Tianna was beautiful, she lacked charm. After they married, she insisted on waiting for him to fall in love with her before they’d become intimate.
Fell in love with her?
The thought alone made him want to laugh.
Tianna came from a small town. Besides her looks, she had little else to offer. He, on the other hand, was from the prestigious Jimenez family. It was clear who was out of whose league.
She was the one who should be grateful, and if anyone should be madly in love, it was her, not him.
Layton had said they could only divorce if Melvin hadn’t fallen in love. with Tianna after three years. But a month ago, Layton passed away.
Now that the funeral was over, Melvin didn’t want to wait another second. He’d dragged Tianna here the moment it was done.
“Alright then. Let’s get a divorce.” Tianna shrugged indifferently.
“Are you really serious? I warn you–don’t try any tricks.” Melvin’s

discomfort was obvious. Tianna had agreed too quickly, and it didn’t sit right
With him.
Before coming here, he’d thought Tianna, who was so in love with him, would resist.
After all, during their two years of marriage, she had devoted herself entirely to him, waiting for him to come home every day. She had no life. outside of him..
Could she really agree to a divorce so easily?
Tianna didn’t argue. She simply walked into the courthouse.
Melvin watched her, a flicker of suspicion in his eyes, but thinking of his future, he followed her in.
Half an hour later, they stepped out of the courthouse, each holding a divorce certificate.
“Well… We’re divorced now, but I’m not the stingy type. I’ll transfer some money to you, enough for you to live comfortably for the rest of your life.” In his mind. Tianna, being from a small town, wouldn’t need much.
money.
Tianna was texting someone. Without looking up at him, she said, “No need. Keep it for yourself.”
“Tianna, you’re really ungrateful…”
Before Melvin could finish, a flashy red sports car screeched to a halt in front of them. A woman in high heels and a pencil skirt stepped out, her long waves of hair flowing behind her. She walked straight to Melvin and linked arms with him. “Are you done? What a hassle.”
She threw Tianna a disdainful glance. To her, Tianna was nothing but a “hassle“.

“It’s done.”
Melvin smiled at the woman, then leaned in to whisper something in her ear. She giggled loudly.
Then he walked to Tianna, lowering his voice. “Don’t blame me for being ruthless. Via’s dad is the director of Radiance Group’s Purchasing Department. She’s not like you.”
“Radiance Group?” Surprised. Tianna looked at the woman not far away.
“Yeah. The one owned by the richest man in Ridgedale.” Melvin was smug, lifting his chin as he looked down at Tianna.
Tianna put down her phone and chuckled. “So now you want a divorce because you think you can get in with Radiance Group, right?”
Melvin didn’t deny it. “Tianna, from the start, we were never in the same world. I’ll keep getting better, and you…
“You’re destined to stay at the bottom of society.”
“Hurry up. Stop talking to her. She’s annoying,” the woman not far away urged Melvin, sounding displeased.
Melvin nodded and then walked to her, getting into the sports car while holding her in his arms.
Tianna stood still, watching them leave with a sarcastic smile.
Soon, a black Rolls–Royce Cullinan pulled up in front of her. The rear window rolled down, revealing a handsome face. “Tia, get in.”
Tianna nodded, opened the door, and slid into the back seat.
Just as the car started moving, the man in the back seat asked her eagerly, “Did you get divorced?”

“Yes.” Tianna nodded, tossing the divorce certificate over to him. “Matthew, why are you here alone? Where are Jameson and Deven?”
“They couldn’t make it in time, but I was already in Ridgedale visiting Dad, so I came right away when I got your message.” Matthew Bennett. flipped through the divorce certificate. Confirming that Tianna had really divorced Melvin, he beamed.
Tianna nodded while he continued, “I never thought Melvin would agree to the divorce so quickly. With your background, how could he just let you go?”
“Layton never told him about my real identity. He thought I came from a regular family and wasn’t good enough for him,” she said calmly, without any anger in her voice.
Matthew frowned, clearly displeased. “Not good enough for him? That’s ridiculous.
“With your status, he should consider himself the luckiest man on Earth, Okay?”
Tianna couldn’t help but chuckle, her eyes sparkling. “Matthew, when did you get so funny?”
“I’m serious. You’re the sole heir to Radiance Group. Marrying you would be the luckiest thing to ever happen to him,” Matthew said, his words full of indignation.
Back then, their grandpa, Talon Bennett, owed Layton a favor, and Layton used it as an excuse to make Tianna marry Melvin. Otherwise, Melvin wouldn’t have had a chance to be with her at all.
But he didn’t appreciate her, constantly belittling her. The thought angered Matthew, making him want to confront Melvin.
Tianna chuckled. Suddenly, a loud crash shook the car. Tianna was

thrown forward, nearly landing in the front seat.
“What’s going on?” Matthew frowned, asking the driver.
The driver got out to check and quickly returned, reporting, “We’ve been rear–ended.”
“Who would dare ruin our day like this? I’ll make them regret it.” Matthew got out of the car angrily.
Tianna followed him, worried he might do something reckless.
It was a white Bentley that had crashed into them. Tianna immediately recognized it–there were only five in the country, and none in Ridgedale.
A man stepped out of the car, wearing a white suit. The first thing Tianna noticed was his striking eyes.
He wasn’t a local.
As she observed him, she felt someone’s gaze on her.
There was someone in the back seat of the Bentley.
Their eyes met through the glass, and after a moment, the back door opened, and the man stepped out.
His long legs were encased in perfectly pressed trousers, his black suit impeccably tailored.
His white shirt was casually unbuttoned, exuding an effortless elegance.
Then she saw his face, and for a moment, she forgot to breathe.
She had seen many handsome men, such as her brothers. And the man in the white suit.
But none of them could be compared to the man she was looking at.

The man had sharp features–high cheekbones, a straight nose, thick eyebrows, and captivating eyes. Every part of his face seemed to be crafted by a master artist.
As he walked toward her, backlit by the sun, Tianna was momentarily
stunned.
“Hello.” he said, his voice deep and smooth like a cello.
“Oh… Hello.” She snapped out of her daze, and the irritation from the earlier accident faded instantly.
“Sorry about your car. Can I have your number? I’ll handle the repairs,” he said.
Tianna was still a little dizzy and, without thinking, she had already given him her number.
He saved her number and called her. “This is my number. Save it.”
“Okay.” She nodded. Upon typing in his name, she suddenly realized she didn’t know it. “What’s your name?”
“Levi.” he looked at her, saying word by word, “Levi Wilkinson.”
Tianna continued typing, not noticing his gaze on her. When she didn’t react to his name, he gave a faint, disappointed smile.
Not far away, Matthew and the man in the white suit had already sorted things out. Tianna was relieved. She said to Levi, “I’ll get in touch about the repairs later.”
“Okay.” Levi nodded and watched her leave.
The man in the white suit, Rafael Levine, walked over and complained, “Levi, seriously? That car is one of only live in the country! How could you let me crash into it?”

“You’ve always liked the Bugatti in my garage, right? It’s yours now,” Levi said and got back into the car.
Rafael’s eyes lit up. He had been eyeing that limited–edition Bugatti for a long time.
As the car started up again, Rafael couldn’t help but ask, “But Levi, why did you make me crash into them? Do you have a grudge against those. people?”
On the other side, the Rolls–Royce Cullinan pulled into the Bennett’s manor. After a few comments on the accident, Matthew suddenly remembered something and asked Tianna, “By the way, what are your plans now? Want to join the entertainment industry? With your looks, you’d definitely make it big.”
Matthew had some fame in the entertainment world, which is why he was considering bringing Tianna along.
“No,” she said without hesitation, shaking her head.
“Dad won’t approve.” And she had no interest in becoming a celebrity
anyway.
Matthew nodded, realizing she was right. Entering showbiz would mean being judged by millions online, and their father, Gordon Bennett, would never allow it.
“Then why not take over Radiance Group? Dad has been talking about it a lot these past two years,” he suggested.
Tianna was silent for quite a while before nodding. “Why not? Inheriting a billion–dollar fortune after a divorce? Sounds interesting.”
