Chapter 13 Randall’s Scheme
Tianna returned to her office. Meanwhile, Randall was already back from the executive meeting, his face dark. It seemed he had been reprimanded. quite a lot because of Arthur.
“Mr. Duarte wants to see you in his office,” Randall’s assistant “Mr. Duarte wants to see you in h
approached Tianna and said coldly.
Tianna was surprised and glanced towards Randall’s office. “He wants to see me?”
“Cut the nonsense and hurry up.” The assistant shot her a glare before. walking away.
Tianna got up and walked into Randall’s office. Randall smiled brightly as soon as he saw her. “Tianna, come sit down.”
His attitude was strange, and Tianna felt a bit uncomfortable. “Mr. Duarte, what can I do for you?”
She preferred Randall’s cold face, and his sudden bright smile made her
uneasy.
“Regarding the Welkin Group incident, the company has decided to cancel our cooperation with them. What do you think?” Randall asked with a smile.
Tianna was puzzled but played dumb. “I’m just an intern, so I agree with whatever the company decides to do.”
“You’re not just any intern.”
Randall looked at her meaningfully. “You’re the one exposing the Welkin Group incident, right? How did you find out? Did Mr. Hudson tell you?”

“Mr. Duarte, I have no idea what you’re talking about.” Tianna smiled and feigned ignorance.
Randall wasn’t angry by her response. He said, “I know you and Mr. Hudson have some special relationship, but you’re now working in the Purchasing Department. If there’s anything, you should inform me immediately.
“If you had told me about the Welkin Group incident earlier, I wouldn’t have had to ask you to approach Arthur for cooperation.
“Now the contract with the Welkin Group is void, and Radiance Group is being talked about. As a member of the company, you should think before you act. If you’re unsure, you can come to me. You don’t have to do whatever others say, understand?”
He believed the information Tianna had was all from Cohen, for as an
intern, she should never be able to have access to that.
Tianna just smiled and said nothing. Randall pulled out a card from the drawer, his wrinkled face full of smiles. “You need to learn to adapt. As the manager of the Purchasing Department, I won’t mistreat my staff.”
“Mr. Duarte, are you trying to bribe me?” Tianna looked at the bank card. in front of her, surprised.
She didn’t expect Randall to be so bold as to bribe her.
Randall shook his head. “How could it be a bribe? I’m just appreciating your hard work, and it’s a reward for
you.”
Tianna sneered inside and did not take the card. “I’m just doing my job, Mr. Duarte. The company has already paid me, so I can’t take this.”
Her refusal seemed to anger Randall, and his face changed instantly. “So, you still plan to oppose me?”
Chapter 13 Randall’s Scheme.
“What? Mr. Duarte, why would you think so?”
Tianna continued to play dumb, her eyes innocent. “I’m just doing my job. How could that be opposing you?”
Randall took back the card and revealed a cold smile. “Get back to work.”
“Yes, Mr. Duarte.” Tianna nodded and left.
Randall sat still, his gaze cold as he watched her leave.
Back at her desk, Tianna soon felt herself getting busier. She suspected this was Randall’s deliberate move to force her to give in.
However, to her, such a scheme was just nothing.
After work, she left the company and drove back home. Not long after she sat on the sofa, a call came in, inviting her for drinks.
She didn’t refuse. After a long day at work, she needed a place to vent.
Tianna changed into a chic skirt and picked a white Koenigsegg from the garage. As she started the car, the roaring sound of the engine echoed throughout the entire manor.
At the VS Bar, Tianna’s sports car drew quite a lot of attention as soon as
it arrived.
“A sports car and a beauty, what a sight,” people whispered, but no one dared to approach.
After all, money and beauty weren’t for everyone.
Tianna found her friend, Christina, who had already ordered drinks at a table. Seeing her, Christina quickly waved. “Tia, over here.”
“Why didn’t you book a private room?” Tianna asked casually as she walked over and sat down.

Christina poured her a glass of wine and then pointed to the nearby stage. “There’s more fun sitting in the hall.”
“By the way, I heard you got divorced?” Christina was one of the few who knew about her marriage.
Tianna nodded, and Christina said, “Then let’s have a good time tonight. The waiters in this bar are quite handsome. Do you want some?”
“No,” Tianna declined directly and gave her a glare. “If my dad finds out, he’ll definitely ask me to block you.”
Gordon was quite strict with Tianna and did not allow her to act recklessly like other playboys and girls in the circle. Therefore, he had always been opposed to her hanging out with friends like Christina who might mislead her.
However, Tianna loved to hang out with Christina. Therefore, most of the time, they could only have fun together secretly.
“You’re right. I don’t want to be killed by Mr. Bennett. Let’s just drink and enjoy the eye candy.” Christina knew Gordon’s temperament very well, so she didn’t dare to go too far.
As they were drinking, three more people entered the bar.
“Melvin, you must avenge me!”
Nola stood behind Melvin, tugging at his sleeve. “Tianna, that bitch, hurt Edward and even threatened me. She doesn’t take our Jimenez family in the eye at all!”
“I already divorced her, so stop provoking her.” Melvin somehow felt irritated, especially when he thought about Tianna hooking up with Cohen.
Nola pouted unhappily. “Melvin, even though you’re divorced, she’s still

your woman. How can you do nothing knowing that she’s hooking up with other men?”
Melvin wanted to say he just could do nothing. However, he suddenly saw Tianna chatting and laughing with Christina not far away.
Tianna was wearing a black short skirt tonight, and her waist–length hair was casually tied into a bun, making her look chic and cute.
Melvin couldn’t help but feel a bit stunned. He thought, “Is this the Tianna Bennett who I’ve been married to for two years?
“Why have I never known her to be so beautiful?”
Perhaps his gaze was too intense, and Tianna, who was chatting with Christina, suddenly felt someone was looking at her.
She turned and met Melvin’s gaze.
She immediately frowned in disgust.
She was considering whether to drag Christina to a private room. Just then, Nola shouted, “Tianna Bennett! What are you doing here?
“Melvin, look at her. She’s absolutely gone crazy since the divorce. How dare she come to a bar dressing like this? She must want to seduce some other men again!”
