Chapter 18 Kill Her
Seeing how timid Camille was, Tianna was both disappointed and furious. “Think about it, Camille. You don’t get this lucky all the time. Maybe next time no one will come to your rescue.”
“I… didn’t ask you to save me.” Camille bit her lip, feeling that Tianna was just pretending to be nice.
If that plan hadn’t failed, Randall wouldn’t have made a move on her at
all.
In other words, it was all Tianna’s fault.
Tianna didn’t know what Camille was thinking. If she did, she’d probably slap herself for meddling.
Yet, Camille’s words were already enough to rile her up.
“Fine. Sorry for intruding, OK?” She was so pissed off that her head was spinning. Then she turned to leave.
However, Randall stopped her, his gaze fierce. “You barged into my office. You really think you can leave like this?”
“Or what? Are you gonna call the cops?” She didn’t think he had the
nerve.
His face stiffened, his gaze darkening. “Tianna, don’t get cocky. You might not end up well.”
“Is that so? Mr. Duarte, just a reminder,” Tianna smiled at him sweetly. “All the bad deeds you’ve ever done will eventually come back to you.”
“You…”
“See you.” Tianna turned to leave.
Camille was dazed, puzzled at why Tianna dared to speak to Randall like
that.
“Why are you still standing there? Are you gonna keep him company?” Tianna glanced at her coldly.
Tianna didn’t regard herself as a saint, and she wasn’t a fan of meddling.
But now, if she walked away while knowing Randall would take advantage of Camille, she’d feel really bad.
Camille snapped back to reality and hurried toward the door. Even after everything that had happened, she still said to Randall with respect, “Bye, Mr. Duarte.”
With that, she hurried after Tianna, afraid Randall would grab her again.
But he didn’t. He just stood in his office, watching their retreating figures. His cold eyes were like those of a venomous snake, sending chills down one’s spine.
Then he pulled out his phone and said slowly yet concisely, “Kill her.”
Camille followed Tianna even after they walked out of Radiance Group. Tianna stopped and stared at Camille intently, and the latter found it hard to breathe, overwhelmed by her strong aura.
After quite a while, Tianna looked away and sneered, “Why are you still following me? You can go.”
withmixedfeelings.
“I” Camille pursed her lips withmixed feelings.
“I’m sorry. I was just too scared…” she lowered her head and said in a
broken voice.
At first, Tianna wanted to walk away directly. After all, Camille helped. frame her earlier, and when they were in Randall’s office, she actually helped Randall get off the hook. How infuriating!
Yet as she looked at the pitiful look on Camille’s face, she couldn’t help but feel that Camille was also a victim. Sighing helplessly, she said, “Take a few days off. Come back to work after you feel better.”
by then, she should have dealt with Randall already. Camille would no longer be threatened.
“OK.” Camille nodded, fearing she might get called into Randall’s office again tomorrow if she came back to work.
After parting ways with Camille, Tianna got into her car, took out her phone, and started to listen in on Randall.
She barged into his office to save Camille and plant the bug there.
She knew planting the bug on him would work better, after all, he wouldn’t be in his office 24/7.
But, still, it was better than not finding any chance at all. If she listened carefully, sooner or later, she’d find something useful.
The second day arrived.
It was Tianna’s first weekend back at work and also the day of her first surgery since her return.
She got up early and went through the case again to make sure she knew exactly what she was doing.
After making sure everything was ready, she started the car and headed toward the hospital.
Meanwhile, Rafael burst into Levi’s office with the latest news, thrilled. “Levi, I found it!”

Levi frowned, looked up, and glanced at him with a displeased look. “When can you be more composed?”
“I was just too thrilled.” Rafael awkwardly scratched his head and leaned closer to Levi. “I found out where and when Dr. B is performing the surgery!”
“Speak.”
“Today, at Wellness Hospital. But I don’t know the exact time.” He had already put in a great deal of effort to get this information, and there wast really nothing more he could dig up.
Levi put the pen down, his gaze deep. “It’s fine. We’ll go there now. I’m sure we’ll see Dr. B today.”
As Tianna drove into Wellness Hospital, Breeze in Ravenbourne had already made the arrangements.
She got out of the car wearing a mask and hat and headed straight for the operating room.
“Dr. B?” The director of Wellness Hospital, Wesley Wilcher, had been waiting for her since early morning. At the sight of her at the operating. room door, he subconsciously stepped forward to ask.
When he learned that the famous Dr. B was planning on performing surgery here, he even thought he was dreaming.
Tianna nodded and greeted him, “Hello, Mr. Wilcher.”
Judging from her voice, Wesley realized she was a young woman, which left him slightly stunned.
“Has the patient been prepped for surgery?” Tianna asked.
Wesley nodded, not daring to question anything.

Of course, he didn’t have the guts to doubt Dr. B.
And it didn’t even cross his mind that she might be an imposter.
Who could be as capable as Dr. B?
Tianna entered the prep room, changed into a sterile gown, and thoroughly disinfected herself. Then she walked into the operating room to begin the surgery.
Meanwhile, Levi had already arrived downstairs with his men.
“Have all the exists guarded,” he commanded while walking inside the hospital.
Walking together with him, Rafael looked worried. “Levi, we’ve never seen Dr. B. Are you sure this is gonna work?”
“I reached out to the hospital before coming. They only have three surgeries scheduled for today. We just need to check them one by one.” Finally, Levi got to see Dr. B today, and he was so eager that he
quickened his steps uncontrollably.
Tianna was in the operating room and had no idea what was going on out there. All her attention was on the patient.
She was performing heart transplant surgery. The patient had severe heart failure, and a transplant was the only choice.
Luckily, it wasn’t hard for her. Her only concern was to slow down so that the doctors standing beside the operating table could see her operate clearly.
When Wesley knew Dr. B was coming to perform this surgery, he immediately notified all the doctors in the Cardiac Department to come. and observe.
“The surgery now begins,” Tianna said, and the entire room immediately
fell silent.
They looked at Tianna’s petite figure, now understanding how she could go through several hours without complaining at all.
The surgery was scheduled for eight hours, but it was completed in four hours. In fact, it would have ended even faster if Tianna hadn’t deliberately slowed down to let the observing doctors see more clearly.
As the patient was wheeled into the ICU, she began changing out of her sterile gown. One of the doctors couldn’t help but praise her, “Dr. B, you surely are amazing. I barely saw anything, and the surgery was already
over.”
“Dr. B. how exactly did you do it?” someone couldn’t help but ask.
Changing into her own clothes, she said, “Be patient. With time, you can do it, too.”
She still remembered her first time assisting her teacher in surgery. Back then, she had been just as in awe of her teacher.
And now, she was capable of independently performing any cardiac surgery.
