Chapter 19 Feel Her Out
Levi stood outside the operating room, staring intently at the doors.
A moment later, the doors opened, and a bunch of doctors walked out.
He frowned; there were too many of them, and he couldn’t tell which one was Dr. B.
He sent his assistant to ask around, but everyone shook their heads and said they weren’t Dr. B.
“Dr. B has already left,” one of the doctors subconsciously said.
Hearing this, Levi strode forward and looked him in the eye. “Left? When? Which way?”
“The… side door. Dr. B said she had something to attend to and left,” intimidated by Levi’s imposing presence, the doctor stuttered and pointed in a direction.
The operating room had a side door, which the staff usually used. They only used the main door today because there were so many people, and the side door was relatively small.
Levi pulled an extremely long face. He asked as he walked, “How long has it been since Dr. B left?”
“A few minutes.”
A few minutes? Levi realized there was still time.
He immediately called Rafael, asking Rafael to secure all the exits and make sure no one suspicious left.
Chucker 19 Feel Her Out
Wearing her mask and hat, Tianna walked out of the building. She noticed at once that there were a lot of people who seemed like bodyguards.
She wondered if the news that she was doing surgery in Ridgedale had been leaked, so she imperceptibly avoided them and was about to leave. via the back door.
When she came to the back door, she saw it was guarded, too.
She could easily deal with two bodyguards, but if she got physical, she might expose herself.
As she was torn, a voice from the side rang out. “Doctor! Doctor! My dad passed out!”
“Don’t move me! Lay him flat.”
She strode over, patted the old man’s face, and kept calling out to him.
Seeing that he had no response, she frowned.
“Maybe it’s a sudden heart attack,” she said and started to check his breathing and heartbeat.
The situation was very serious. For a sudden heart attack, the rescue time was of vital importance. She began performing CPR without hesitation.
While pressing hard on his chest, she shouted to the people beside her, “Go get the doctors at the emergency room here! Now!”
They were at the hospital’s back door, which was relatively far away from the emergency room. It was possible what was going on here hadn’t been. reported yet.
She was still performing CPR when Levi arrived at the back door. At this point, she no longer cared if her identity would get exposed; saving the old man’s life was her priority.

Luckily, he regained some consciousness thanks to her relentless efforts. And the doctors from the emergency room arrived in time and wheeled. him away for surgery.
Tianna didn’t tag along. She let out a sigh of relief and turned to leave. Just then, she saw Levi standing not far away, and she was quite surprised.
Why was he here?
Levi was thinking the same thing. Combining the fact that she had rescued the old man, he couldn’t help but be suspicious.
Walking over to her, he asked, “Why are you at the hospital?”
Tianna still had the mask and the hat on. Hearing this, she subconsciously replied. “You recognized me?”
He nodded.
“It’s the hospital. Of course, I’m here to see a doctor. What else could it be?” She looked away, avoiding his gaze. For some reason, she always felt he’d see through her lies.
Her words got Levi worried. “You’re sick? Are you OK?”
Perhaps he sensed that the concern in his tone was too obvious. Before she could reply, he explained, “I hope you don’t think I’m crossing the line. I’m just concerned as a friend.”
“Not at all.” Tianna couldn’t shake off the feeling that something was off. “It’s not a big deal. It’s just a fever.”
“Oh? Alright then,” he said, sounding a bit relieved. Then he suddenly remembered something and said, “You seem like an expert when performing CPR.”
He stared at her, his gaze probing.

Her heart skipped a beat as she wondered if he was trying to feel her out.
Yet, she maintained her composure. “It’s just CPR. You didn’t learn it while you were in college?”
Given how common CPR was nowadays, she found her reply made sense.
Noticing that he was still staring at her without saying a word, she had to change the subject. “By the way, why are you here? Are you sick, too?”
“I’m here with a friend,” he said just as Rafael walked over.
She nodded and didn’t press further.
Just as she was trying to come up with a reason to leave, her phone rang. At this precise moment, she was extremely grateful to the person who called her.
“Sorry, I gotta take this.” She walked aside, holding her phone.
Rafael walked over to Levi and whispered, “Levi, did you find Dr. B?”
Levi shook his head. Though Tianna’s presence here was suspicious, he didn’t think she was Dr. B.
In his memory, she had always been cute, and when she was little, she didn’t show any extraordinary talent.
It couldn’t be her, her being here was probably just a coincidence.
Rafael sighed, feeling quite disappointed, “What a pity. I should have thought there was a side door to the operating room.”
“It’s fine. Since Dr. B has returned, I’m sure there’ll be a chance sooner or later.” Levi wasn’t quite worried, though time was limited.
Rafael nodded and wanted to say something when Tianna walked over. “What are you talking about?”
Chapter 19 Feet Her Out
“Just chatting. Levi was looking for a miracle doctor but failed,” Rafael blurted out before Levi could stop him.
Tianna remained calm, though she was actually quite surprised. She thought, “So, those people guarding the hospital’s exits are all Levi’s men?
“No wonder he was staring at me so intently earlier. He must have been suspicious of me.”
“A miracle doctor? Why? Is someone in your family sick?” she looked at Levi and probed casually.
Seeing him nod, she pondered for a while before continuing, “I know a pretty good doctor. If you don’t mind…”
Though she remained skeptical as to the reason why Levi approached her, she didn’t hate him. If someone in his family was seriously ill, maybe she’d consider giving a hand.
“That won’t be necessary. The situation in his family is rather complicated. It has to be that miracle doctor,” Rafael said
straightforwardly. He was telling the truth; otherwise, they wouldn’t have
gone to such lengths.
Hearing this, Tianna looked at Levi, who nodded. Then she nodded as well. “Good luck.”
She thought, “I was kind enough to offer you a shortcut, yet you didn’t appreciate it. What a pity.
“Good luck in waiting.”
Breeze was in charge of screening her patients, and she didn’t know when it would be Levi’s turn.
“I got something to do, so I’ll take my leave.” She waved at them. Bobby had just called her regarding new findings about Randall, and she needed
to check them out.
