“Enough” Nathan shouted, his entire body trembling with rage. He abruptly stood up from his seat and stormed over

Nathan’s eyes were wide with fury as he pointed at Claire, chastising her. “You ungrateful child, how dare you act out like this? Look at yourself, you’re an embarrassment to the Linwood family!“.
Vanessa, peeking from behind Nathan, whispered, “Sister, please don’t do this. It’s all my fault, don’t be angry.”
Claire couldn’t hear their words. She only saw their mouths moving, their expressions a blend of anger, disappointment, and feigned concern.
She felt like a trapped animal, desperately roaring, but couldn’t even hear her own voice.
She stumbled towards the door, her vision blurring, the world spinning around her.
Summoning her last ounce of strength to stay upright, her legs gave way and she collapsed forward!
